He’s My Family! You Guys Are Not!

However, Sasha chuckled coldly. “He’s not worth my trust? Are you, though? The last time I lent you my
car, you told me that your girlfriend would be driving, but you ended up driving the car. You even ran over
a person, like, come on! In the end, my family still had to show up to settle things for you, so how dare
you ask for my trust?”

Tate’s facial expression turned awkward. “That’s… That’s in the past! Matthew, on the other hand, did
something morally questionable. He’s just a live-in son-in-law that leeches on us and cheats on you…
Aren’t you going to do anything about it?”

Sasha waved them off impatiently. “Don’t worry about my family issues. Also, do not talk badly about
Matthew in front of me in the future. Remember this, Matthew is my husband. He is my family! You guys
are not!”

Then she got up and left, leaving those two with dark expressions on their faces.

At this moment, Minerva snapped in anger. “Sasha, why are you being so arrogant? So, are we not your
family anymore just because you’ve become the president? We were just trying to be nice and warn you,
as we are afraid of you getting tricked, but this is how you’re treating us in return?”

However, Sasha glared at Minerva. “Stop acting like a good person in front of me! If you’re really a nice
person, you wouldn’t have spread rumors that I owe you guys 1.6 million!”

Yet Minerva retorted angrily as well. “Well, you do owe us 1.6 million! I still have receipts with me. Do you
want me to show you the receipts?”

Right then, Sasha got so pissed off she turned around and left as she really didn’t want to care about
those two anymore.



Matthew was changing in the room when he saw Sasha entering and chuckled softly. “Did they piss you
off again? Why were you even offended by what they said?”



At this instance, Sasha explained angrily, “I’m not offended. I’m just worried that they might use what
happened today as an opportunity to move into our place. Do you remember how stressful it was during
those few days that they stayed over ever since what happened previously? What should we do if they
come over again?”

Nevertheless, Matthew assured her softly. “It’s alright. You don’t have to be bothered by them. Once I
settle everything, we will move to Lakeside Garden together. We’ve just got to be patient till then.”

However, Sasha rolled her eyes at him. “You should stop mentioning Lakeside Garden. Once the
company earns profit, any two bedrooms and one living room house would be fine. As long as we won’t
be staying with them any longer, I’m happy even if we end up in a cob house!”

Laughing, Matthew pulled Sasha into his embrace before saying softly, “Dummy, how could I let you stay
in a cob house? If I could, I would even get you the moon.”

Right then, Sasha felt her body going soft as she really enjoyed what she was feeling at this moment.

After hugging for a while, she gave Matthew a seductive eye roll. “Alright. You’re going to make me late
for work! I mean, I still have to earn money to take care of you, my little baby! Haha!”

Sasha couldn’t help but burst into laughter after what she said, while Matthew chuckled as well. “Sure. I
can’t wait to be taken care of like a baby!”

Then she used her slender finger to poke Matthew on his head. “You wish! Earn some money so that I
can be a rich woman that stays at home in the future!”



Immediately, Matthew straightened his back. “Yes, madam!”

The two of them gave each other a look and laughed.

Meanwhile, Tate and Minerva, who failed to get between Sasha and Matthew, looked pissed off.

“Is Sasha stupid? I can’t believe she’s not even questioning Matthew about him not returning the entire
night yesterday! What the hell? I was the one who witnessed Leanna picking Matthew up, and they didn’t
even return that night! How is that alright?” Tate complained in anger while Minerva waved him off.
“Whatever. Don’t talk about it anymore. You’re not even on Matthew’s level when it comes to women!”
