When Dennis heard the doorbell, he walked up to the door and asked, “Who is it?”
“It’s me.”After confirming that Aina was standing outside the door through the peephole, he opened the door and
looked around before dragging her into the room.
When he realized she was trembling, Dennis chuckled and collected her hair behind her ears. “Where is
she now?”
“She’s in the car. I don’t know how to carry her up here,” Aina replied in a soft voice.
Dennis caressed her cheek and praised her. “You’ve done a great job this time.”
Aina did not say anything.
Dennis sent an attendant to the car park to carry the “unconscious” Leah up to his room.
The attendant told him that he had not noticed anyone in the car park. Dennis watched as the attendant
put Leah on the bed and warned him, “Keep your mouth shut like you always do, understand?”
The attendant shrunk and nodded.
Dennis noticed Aina was still standing outside the door, so he turned his head to look at her and said,
“Go out and wait for me, honey. I’ll take you for a meal tonight. I’m very happy today, so I’ll give you
whatever you want.”
Aina glanced at Leah, lying on the bed, and left the room.
After Aina closed the door, Dennis spun his head around to look at the woman on the bed. He took off
his tie and leaned forward to stroke her cheek. “This is all your fault. If you hadn’t acted all high and
mighty, I wouldn’t have to resort to this method.”
His finger stopped in front of her collar and undid the button with a single flick.At that moment, Leah cracked her eyes open and pushed him away.
Dennis did not expect her to wake up at this time, but since she had already come to her senses, he did

away since you’re in my hands now?”
Leah got up and pretended to be panicked. “Are you out of your mind, Mr. Clarke? How can you do this?”

Dennis noticed her intention and blocked the door before she could reach it. “There’s no way you can get
away.”
“Move aside, Dennis. Otherwise, You’ll be sorry!”
A crooked smile appeared on Dennis‘ face as he said, “I like strong women like you the most.”
He took a step forward and grabbed her into his arms.
Leah tried to resist, but at the same time, she did not forget her mission. She turned her head sideways
and said, “Has it ever come across your head how sad Aina will be if she finds out what you did?”
Dennis stopped for a while and chuckled. “Aina? We’re just getting what we need. Besides, if it weren’t
for Aina, how would you have fallen into my hands this time?”
He turned her face over, and just when he was about to kiss her, Leah pulled the pen out of her pocket
and aimed the tip of the pen at his shoulder.
