THE DOUBLE FACED WOMAN

***AAMINAS' POV***

""What a hardcore porn, they did enjoyed themselves, with all the moans and groans", I said bitterly.

I wasn't bitter because of what they did, I was bitter because it had taken me so long to find out the
beast in Floyd, Yes certainly, Floyd is a beast.

He had taken life from me and I am gonna make him pay for it.

I quickly saved everything, both their audio clip in the flash drive, I took my laptop and hid it where no
one would certainly see it.

I don't even think she will ever find out, I know she's just so dumb, she sees me as a Naive girl, and I
will play that role for her perfectly.

*****ABDUL'S POV*****

I kept pacing thro and fro around the house, I wondered why she wasn't back home yet.

I tried calling her phone, but it was kinda switched off, I wanted to call the doctor but on second
thought, I decided to keep calm.

In as much as I want the safety of my wife, I don't want any scandal, I know this would be the time
journalists would want to make money out of me.

I knew nothing bad would have happened if not I would have gotten a message, either from her or her
bodyguards.

I heard the sound of vehicles entering inside, I told my bodyguard to check who it is, or who they are.



"Hey, come over, go check if it's the Queen, hurry up", I ordered.

"Yes sir", she replied. You're surprised right yes, it's definitely a she.

Left for me, I wouldn't require a female bodyguard, I was against employing her to work for me.

She was referred to me by the head of a secret security group, I doubted her prowess.

After the evidence of her past works, I finally gave it a second thought and saw far, she's been good,
like very good.

She's also dedicated to work.

"Hey, what happened, was there any problem along the way?, I have been trying your number but it
wasn't going through, at first it was going through but later on, it said not reachable.

This is actually the first time something like this is happening", I told Amancia.

"You called?, I didn't know maybe it was when I was having the eye check-up, and no there was no
problem, I know it took longer than usual, am so sorry, but you wouldn't have bothered", I replied him.

I inwardly rolled my eyes and mumbled, "old fool, I mean!!, Why will he be checking up on me, as my
guardian angel or what", I thought.

"Amancia!!!!, Why shouldn't I be bothered about your safety, huhhh, if anything had happened to you,
do you think I would ever forgive myself.

Please when next you go out, and you know you'll be coming back late, make sure to inform me, I can't
go about worrying myself over nothing, Do you get that?", He asked.

I nodded my head.



"I wanted to call the doctor but on second thought I decided against it, if I had told him, you know how
words flies, the next thing you'll hear is;The Queen of Al Zayed goes missing.

Certainly that's what would be the headline for the next four or five months, it would be a scandal.

Also, I didn't want him to think I don't trust him when you're in his custody, so I decided to let go of it",
he rasped.

"Yeah, that's true, you did a nice work, don't even call him for anything, so we won't be causing a
scandal in the future, infact let me have your phone", I told him.

I was afraid of going out to meet Floyd again and coming out to know I have been busted.

He just laughed and said," no need for that, Amancia, I won't make such mistake on the future.

I was angry by his words, and the stance he took, I just turned my back and left, heading for my room.

I didn't hear any word from him again, I hate him so much, like father like son, Men of few words.

They make sure you go by their own verdict.

****AAMINAS'POV****

"Alright she's back", I said to myself, "the almighty Queen is finally back", I mumbled.

I decided to look for something maid-like to wear, something perfectly innocent-like.

I searched inside my drawer until I saw a a long baggy gown, I quickly put it on, and made my hair in a
bun.

Sweetly something simple, I was looking for a footwear when I heard a knock on the door.



"Who is it?", I shouted.

"Open the door and stop making a fuss about it, it's Khadija, the head of the palace maid", she replied.

I quickly put on that innocent face and stretched a smile across my face, I walked in a haste to open
the door for her, with a cool demeanor.

"Ohhhhh I am so sorry, I was very busy, if I had known you were the one knocking I wouldn't even try
questioning you, I am very sorry", I replied her with my head bowed.

I know that even as the Queen's personal maid, I am still a subject to the chief maid, and not just that,
but I was trying to gain her trust.

My aim is to make sure everyone in the palace loves and trust me, I could tell by the way the Queen
acts towards me, she is already developing a soft spot for me.

This is one rule of the state security agents; Never let your target know who you are, make him or her
so connected with you, when there's trust from the enemy's part, you'll surely achieve success", I
thought, yeah that's rule number one to achieve success.

"No problem, I just came to know how you're faring in this place, not everyone is able to withstand the
words of the Queen.

How were you able to withstand all of these", she asked.

I just chuckled softly and replied, "Everything is all about patience my dear, patience keeps me going,
and also tolerance, I tolerate most of her misactions, so that's no secret", I told her.

So what about you, how do you cope with her?", I asked.



"I have never had the opportunity to deal one on one with her, my work is just to make sure that all the
maids do their work properly, and to make sure they all report to work daily.

Although some times I take part in her tongue lashings, I just ignore all of it, that's due to the pay, the
pay is quite inviting", she said and laughed loudly.

"I love the Queen so much, so so much, I guess this is what happens when you have power, wealth,
authority and all sorts of influence in the country, sometimes I just envy her with the way she walks
gracefully", I told Khadija.

She was taken aback by my words, she didn't expect someone would ever talk about their love for the
Queen, I don't blame her tho.

We talked on and on for about forty-nine minutes, before we decided to resume work, so she wouldn't
find out that we are missing at work.

She thanked me and said,"it's really fun hanging out with you, I love your company, I hope to talk with
you later, hope you'll have time", she asked me.

"Sure, sure, there's always time for beauties like you", I told her, this time around it wasn't to draw her
closer to me, but because it's actually true, she's damn beautiful.

"Ohhh my, thanks a lot, you too are very beautiful, no one has ever told me about my facial
appearance, just you.

I am so thankful Aa-aam-amina, no one even gives a damn about me, thanks dear", I heard her say,
ohh my, she was even stuttering.

I just gave her a hug, and told her all is fine.

She immediately left for her normal evening routine.



I went to the Queen's room, it was unlocked, so I just opened it, everywhere was dark apart from the
running water I was hearing from the bathroom.

I decided to go to work, I was arranging her room, my face was backing the bathroom.

I was so into what I was doing, that I didn't know that someone was standing behind me.

I was about to straighten up, since I have been bending down, when someone immediately grabbed my
neck.

I wanted to scream when the person, closed a hand over my mouth.
