Qingfeng Li’s expression turned murderous as he drew out his right index finger; with a flick, a ray of gold light shot out.
The gold light, embedded with the power of the dragon bone, shot out fast, right through the self-cultivator’s head, leaving a hole in the middle of his brain.
Blood began to splatter as his lifeless body fell to the ground.

The other self-cultivators sucked in their breaths and retreated in shock as they saw what happened.

Jun Po’s expression turned icy cold as he hurled his right hand, transforming it into a giant vital essence fist. Breaking through the void, the first aimed itself right at Qingfeng Li.
Qingfeng Li stood there until Jun Po’s fist was almost in front of him. Quickly circulating his vital essence to form a black fist that was a little smaller than that of Jun Po’s, the fists clashed together, creating an earth-shattering sound.
Then, the energy of the two fists exploded in the air, creating starlight in the air before disappearing.
Qingfeng Li’s body fell back a few steps and he looked at Jun Po in surprise.
“How is this possible? You are one level below me, and I used a half-step saint technique. How are you still alive?”
Jun Po also looked at Qingfeng Li with nothing but disbelief in his eyes, as if he just saw something inconceivable.
Jun Po was usually able to kill anyone that was at the seventh level of the Monarch-Realm with a smash of his fist, but Qingfeng Li came out of it without even a scratch.
Qingfeng Li wasn’t the only one who was forced to retreat – so did Jun Po. This meant that both fists they just conjured were on par, and no one could defeat the other.
Huozhu Chi and Linglong Xue also looked at Qingfeng Li with surprise; they knew how powerful Jun Po was, since they were all of the same level as Jun Po. Neither of them had as many treasures as he did, but their powers were about the same.
However, Jun Po tied with Qingfeng Li, meaning that Qingfeng Li was just as strong, if not stronger than them. He was a worthy contender for the legacy of the Sun Monarch.
Jun Po decided to change his tactics as he drew out his White Spirit Halberd. Aside from the fact that this halberd was as white as snow, it looked exactly the same as Qingfeng Li’s Sky-Breaking Halberd.
Qingfeng Li looked at the White Spirit Halberd in shock – this wasn’t his first time looking at it, but he felt different each time.
Especially now that Qingfeng Li knew the fourth stance of the Sky-Breaking Halberd, he could feel that the White Spirit Halberd and his Sky-Breaking Halberd were from the same origin; however, one represented light, while the other represented darkness.
Qingfeng Li took out his own Sky-Breaking Halberd without hesitation, and he pointed it forward.
The two looked at each other murderously, ready to fight to the death.
Jun Po seemed to know more than Qingfeng Li as he looked at Qingfeng Li’s halberd, “So, you possess the Sky-Breaking Halberd, a dark item. It matches my own! So today, I’m going to defeat you and take yours.”

Jun Po bellowed as he waved the White Spirit Halberd in the air and heaved it forward. It split the void, creating a ray of light energy.
Covering the surface of the mainland, the light turned everything foggy as if all that existed were shimmering in light.
Having felt the light energy, many people and creatures felt less murderous; this light was purifying and could take away the murderous thoughts of humans and self-cultivators.
