Chapter 8 So Persistent

Nancy looked at Jenny's reaction coldly. It turned out that she was still coveting Ryan. It had been so
many years. She was so persistent

"Hum." Ryan took out a handkerchief and wiped his slender fingers with a cold face.

"My dress is wet. Can you lend me a coat?" Her eyes were full of seduction. She always looked pitiful.

Compared with Jenny, Nancy was much colder since childhood. She didn't act like a spoiled child

He glanced at her dress which was wet by red wine and said indifferently, "The front desk is at the end
of the corridor. Do you need my help?"

Jenny's face froze. She caught a glimpse of Nancy who seemed to be watching a play.

Jenny gritted her teeth. She was not convinced. She looked up at him and asked, "Mr. Jin, how is Vicky
recently? Does she feel better? "

When Ryan heard the name "Vicky", his eyes darkened.

Vicky... Nancy's heart skipped a beat. She suddenly realized that Jenny mentioned her child in front of
Ryan on purpose. She wanted to irritate her.

Nancy's fingernails pierced into her palms. Had Jenny kept in touch with Ryan in the past few years?
Why did she know Vicky's conditions?

After coming out of the washroom, Nancy borrowed a hair dryer from the front desk to dry her dress,
and then went to see Shelly.



She saw from a distance that Shelly was standing in the dessert area in a formal dress, talking with a
man in a suit. The man looked familiar to her. It seemed to be the man named Justin.

Three years ago, the Lin family introduced Justin to Shelly, but she didn't like him. She always wanted
to get rid of him. However, Justin was very calm. He drove away the men around Shelly one by one. He
was still pestering her after Nancy had been released from prison.

Nancy was slightly surprised.

She walked towards them. When Shelly saw her, she seemed to have grasped a life-saving straw.

"Nancy! You are finally back. " She winked at her for help, "Let's go out to get some fresh air."

Nancy glanced at Justin and he nodded at her, "Are you Miss Nancy? Do you remember me? "

Nancy took a glance at Shelly. She certainly didn't tell anyone that she had been in prison for three

"University of Montreal? Then you and Mr. Jin are schoolmates. " Justin smiled.

Nancy was stunned. Mr. Jin? Except for Ryan, there shouldn't be a second person who could be called
"Mr. Jin" by a rich man like Justin.

When she was about to smile perfunctorily to deal with it, he suddenly called someone behind her, "Mr.
Jin! What a coincidence! "

Shelly's eyes widened. She held Nancy's hand and said to Justin, "Nancy, I have a stomachache. Can
you go to the washroom with me?"

Before Nancy could say "okay", a man's footsteps came from behind.

Ryan was just a nodding acquaintance of Justin, but he had business with his father, so he came here
to greet him briefly.

"Your father didn't come?" With one hand in his pocket, he walked over with the other hand holding the
red wine glass. He put it in the hand of the waiter when he spoke. He took out a handkerchief from his
suit and wiped his hands obsessively.

At this time, Nancy was standing beside him. Of course, Ryan saw her, but pretended not to see her.

Nancy breathed a sigh of relief.

"Mr. Jin, this is my fiancee, Shelly. This is her friend, Miss Nancy."

Ryan looked in the direction of Shelly and glanced at Nancy indifferently. He just nodded to them like a
gentleman without saying anything. Shelly pulled Nancy's arm and said in a low voice, "Your Mr. Jin is



so cold."? Nancy lowered her voice and said coldly, "My Mr. Jin? I have nothing to do with him."

Nancy reached out and pinched her to let her shut up. Shelly grimaced in pain.
