Chapter 26 Dormitory Four
The photo showed a girl in a pink dress in a crowd of students . She faced the camera and had an annoyed look .
“I secretly took this picture,” Xiao Ma said with shame, as he scratched his head, “I really liked her at that time . After I took the picture, I just kept it in my wallet . I wanted to throw it away, but I always forgot . ”
Ye Shaoyang did not want to make Xiao Ma look bad, so he asked, “Was she your girlfriend?”

As they drove to the school, Ye Shaoyang asked them to tell him the complete history of the place . Old Guo organized his thoughts and slowly explained, “The Japanese made that building during their invasion . It was a hospital they built to take care of the wounded Japanese soldiers . When the Chinese army took back Stone City, they instructed the Japanese in the hospital to surrender . However, the Japanese did not surrender . Instead, they all took their own lives .
“From what I’ve heard, the Chinese army wanted to forcefully take the building . As a result, many of the people were in a rush and could not find swords to perform Seppuku . So, many of them jumped off the building or cut their throats with scalpels to take their own lives .
