Everyone nodded.
“You mean to say only the dead can enter?”

He Xiaofeng was grave as he pointed at Zhuo Fan, “Is that your idea? Then go test it.”
“Test it yourself!” Bali Yuyu growled from behind in anger, Zhuo Fan tried to stop her.
Zhuo Fan had a cruel smile, “Sorry, but one needs to be at Ethereal Stage at the least to wander as a soul. I’m in the Bone Tempering Stage and can’t do it, ha-ha-ha…”
“Then you go!”
Humph snapped at Bali Yuyu, “Since you talk too much, you’ll go instead!”
Bali Yuyu was ready to blow. The only thing keeping her from snapping his neck was that he had power beyond her imagination.
Zhuo Fan sighed, “Fine, I’ll go myself. Yuyu, stand back.”

Bali Yuyu started, “Wait, I’ll go instead!”
“No, it’s fine. You and Shuang’er can wait outside and look after my body.” Zhuo Fan spoke and turned to the light pillar withp uncertainty.
It was just a guess he had about the poem, nothing more. He either nailed it, or his soul would get nailed.
He could only gamble.
Any other nobody could’ve done this job, but the Saint was clearly singling him out to get rid of him. Refusing would just give an excuse to kill him.
Since he gambled, let providence decide.

Zhuo Fan grew stern and he closed his eyes. A faint image floated out of his head, drifting for the light pillar.
The others forgot to breathe while watching him test his theory. If a Bone Tempering soul had no trouble passing, then it had to be safe.
If the soul popped, then they would just think of another way.
Everyone was tense and on edge, some over the outcome, others for Zhuo Fan’s safety.
Chu Qingcheng was worried for Zhuo Fan’s soul as it ventured near danger. But with He Xiaofeng holding her back, she could do nothing.
“Hurry up and enter…” He Xiaofeng was impatient from excitement, even easing Chu Qingcheng’s hand.
Chu Qingcheng yanked it out of his grip and sat down. Another faint image appeared over her head and she shot for the pillar, “Zhuo Fan, wait, I’ll try!”
Zhuo Fan blinked as an image shot by him into the light.
Only then did he realize, “Qingcheng, don’t…”
He also went in.

Both of them ended up entering at the same time, causing the Enchanting Empress to shout, “Qingcheng!”
They were beyond saving now. No one went in after them either, only staring at the light pillar.

A wave of power shot out as the pillar joined with the heavens. The death star shone above and the two souls inside floated higher towards it, gone in an instant.
“The souls survived and teleported!”

The two entered the light pillar and vanished.

Two light pillars shone down and faded to reveal two people, a man and a woman. Looking at herself and finding she was solid, Chu Qingcheng started, “We can enter with our bodies? I thought only souls could enter. Did you know my soul is a white lotus? I thought you wouldn’t recognize me.”
“We’re in yin bodies, probably because we’re in the Nether Sovereign’s seat of enlightenment.”
