Chapter 2843 Cory York slightly froze before forcing out a smile.

“Miss Ishikawa, you must’ve been mistaken.

“The young lord of the family is Vince York. It’s not Harvey York.”

The meaning of those words was simple. Harvey was not even from the Yorks of Hong Kong, and there
was no need to be this polite toward him.

Cory then walked toward Taichi Ishikawa while showing a warm smile.

“I heard about what transpired yesterday, Young Master Ishikawa.

“This is no big deal. It’s all in the past now. Please stand

up.”

He then tried to lift Taichi off the ground.

Taichi completely ignored him and kept slapping himself as he kneeled.

the Ishikawa family!

“We came here today to ask for Sir York’s forgiveness.”

Yukiko ignored Cory and kept bowing in front of Harvey. It was apparent that Cory had no say in the
situation, and only Harvey did, but she did not say it out loud.

Cory’s expression slightly changed.

He did not know why Yukiko was this respectful toward Harvey, but he did not want this to continue.



Cory then showed a warm smile toward Queenie York.

“Queenie, sometimes it’s better to forgive another person than to keep holding a grudge.
“Representative Ishikawa seems pretty sincere. You should talk to Consultant York about this and bury
the hatchet.”

For Cory, Yukiko bowing toward Harvey in front of this many people was not a good thing at all.

He instinctively tried to turn the situation around.

Queenie completely ignored him and curiously glanced at Harvey.
