Chapter 490: You Don&##x27;t Deserve Love

The father and son were separated only by a pane of glass, but they felt far apart from each other.

Emmett pounded into that warm house.

The sunshine and heat here made him feel hard to breathe. Maybe that meant he wouldn't be able to
live a fair life.

"Father," Emmett whispered.

"I know you're coming, but I didn't expect you to be here so fast. Come, sit here and try my tea."

Atwood smiled bitterly and pointed at the table. He sat down first, poured a glass of tea, and pushed it

Atwood took a sip of the tea.

father to do so?"
