I Don’t Want to Wear I

“Wow, that Vivian is so lucky…” Sarah said enviously when she heard Jayson’s words. She
remembered that in the nine years that she and Julian had known each other, he had never done such
a thing for her. She could not help but feel a little disappointed.

“Yes! But Vivian had never known about these things! The most infuriating thing is that our, regimental
commander, treated her so well, but she actually got involved with regimental commander’s younger
brother.” When Jayson finished speaking, he felt a bit sorry for his regimental commander.

Sarah heard him finish speaking, and her heart also felt uncomfortable. Then she became silent.

“Sister-in-law, don’t mind what I just said. I want to tell you that our regimental commander is a good

“Sister-in-law, you came out of regimental commander’s brother’s office yesterday and went home.
Regimental commander and I went to back to Cooper family villa together.” Jayson couldn’t help but

“What’s wrong? What happened?”



“Regimental commander’s mother passed away early. This Lady Copper is not his biological mother. I
think you should know this, right?”

“Yes, I know.” Sarah immediately looked at him and nodded.

“Not long after we returned to the villa yesterday, regimental commander told his family about your
marriage registration. But when Madam Cooper heard that you were married to regimental
commander… She pointed at regimental commander’s nose and cursed, saying that he was not worthy
of being Julian’s Big Brother. She also said that he married you because he wanted to use you to
avenge his biological mother.”

“She said… He clearly knew that you were Julian’s fiancée, yet he shamelessly registered his marriage
with you. He had no conscience at all. She even mocked him for sitting in a wheelchair…”

“Jayson! What nonsense are you spouting?”

Before Jayson could finish, he heard a roar coming from the living room. It turned out that that Christian
had come out of the study at some point in time! Jayson was so scared that his face changed. He
stood up and looked at Christian with a red face.

“Regimental Commander, I…”

“When did you become like a woman? Why are you so long-winded? If you don’t want to stay here, go
back to the army!” Christian looked really angry. He shouted at Jayson.

Sarah could not stand it anymore. She walked out of the kitchen with the vegetables in her hands. She
walked to Christian and looked down at him.

“What are you yelling at? I want to see how you scare Jayson! He only told me these things because
he felt that you were wronged!”



Christian immediately looked at her rudely and said, “What do you want to do? You want to teach me a
lesson too?”

Sarah blushed. She felt that this person was really unreasonable. She glanced at him and said in bad
tone, “Whatever you think!”

After saying that she turned around and went into the kitchen. She handed the dishes in her hands to
Jayson and said, “Jayson, help me deal with these dishes. I want to see who dares to chase you
away!”

Christian looked at the woman’s back and listened to her angry words. His eyes moved slightly and he
turned around and went back to the study.

“Sister-in-law, regimental commander’s temper has always been like this since his leg was injured. You
must not take it to heart!” Seeing Christian return to the study, Jayson was afraid that Sarah would be
angry with Christian, so he quickly put in a good word for Christian.

Sarah shook her head. She did not mind what Christian just said.

“Although I have never been in a wheelchair, I can understand him. Especially since he is a soldier, he
definitely has a bad temper. It’s alright.” After Sarah said that, she smiled at Jayson.

“You are such a good girl! It is very good that regimental commander is able to marry such a girl like
you…” Jayson said with a smile.

Sarah smiled bitterly and did not continue with Jayson’s words. Between her and Christian, there was
no real marriage at all. What else could she say?

Because Jayson was there, they had a rather a pleasant lunch. Christian sat quietly at the table and
ate his lunch. Sarah chatted with Jayson during that time. Although Christian’s face was cold, he did



not say anything. After lunch, Sarah wanted to clean up the kitchen, but was stopped by Jayson.

“I will handle the rest. You can go back first!”

“Okay, then I’ll go first!” Sarah really did not want to see Christian’s gloomy face. She took her beg and
went to the study to greet Christian.

Hearing that she was going to leave, Christian though for a moment and looked at her and said slowly,
“Come over early in the morning tomorrow. We still need to take wedding photos!”

Sarah was stunned and showed an unnatural expression. “We don’t need to take wedding photos! We
are not really…” Sarah was halfway through her sentence when her eyes met Christian’s sharp eyes.
She held back her words and only said, “Okay, I understand!”

“Yes.” Christian looked at her coldly and lowered his head to continue with his work.

Seeing that he did not say anything else, Sarah closed the door for him and greeted Jayson. Then she
left Christian’s apartment.

Jayson watched Sarah walk further and further into the community then walked to Christian and asked
with some uneasiness. “Regimental Commander, are you not afraid that you will scare her away by
doing this to her?”

Christian looked at the sky outside the window and blinked. He did not say anything.

After breakfast the next day, Sarah was worried that Christian would find trouble with her again so she
rushed over early in the morning. Jayson carefully brought Christian downstairs and helped him settle
down in the car. Then he drove the two out of the apartment complex.

The car drove in the city for 30 minutes and finally stopped in front of a wedding dress shop. Sarah
realized that this was not a photography shop at all. She could not help but feel a little puzzled, but she



knew Christian’s temper so she did not say anything.

The wedding dress was customized according to Vivian’s size. Sarah’s figure was similar to Vivian’s, so
the wedding dress was fit on her body. The female boss in the wedding store dressed Sarah like a
beautiful bride. When Sarah walked out wearing that beautiful wedding dress, all the employees felt
their eyes lit up. Even Jayson felt that Regimental commander’s wife was really as beautiful as a fairy!

However, Christian, who was sitting in the wheelchair, only glanced at her lightly before turning his
head to look out the window. His already cold face was covered with a layer of frost again.

This was indeed understandable. No matter how beautiful the bride was, she was not person he
originally wanted to marry!

Because no one was in a good mood, the process of the wedding dress being worn was very quick.
For these two people, as the size was appropriate, it would be fine. As for the effect of wearing it, no
one was in the mood to really observe it.

Because the size of the wedding dress was basically all right, the wedding dress was worn very quickly.
It didn’t take long for the two of them to come out of the wedding dress store. The wedding

ready to start putting on makeup for her. She first gestured to the people beside her, indicating that she
wanted to talk to Christian alone. The others saw through her intensions and left the dressing room.

“What do you want to say?” Christian looked at her indifferently and asked.



“I don’t want to take wedding photos anymore…” Sarah hesitated, but she still said what she wanted to
say.

“Do you think it is possible to get married without wedding photos?” Christian looked at her and asked
coldly.

“I know it is not good, but I still do not want to take photos…” Sarah looked at his gloomy face. She bit
her lips tightly and turned her face to look at the wedding dress beside her. She said slowly with some
emotion.

“I know you might not understand. Many years ago, I had always fantasized about a day in the future…
On that day, my favorite man would personally put on the wedding dress for me. Although I didn’t wait
for that day, the wedding dress was pure in my heart. Not only does it represent that a woman is going
to marry a man, it also represents pure love!”

“Although we will still have to divorce in the future, I will only wear a wedding dress once! I want to wear
it for the man I love the most to see. So, I hope you can understand me…”

To her, wearing a holy wedding dress was a beautiful dream of love. Although Julian mercilessly
shattered it, she believed that one day in the future, there must be someone who was really born for
her. He would hold her in his hands and truly like her. Love her wholeheartedly.

“If that’s the case, why didn’t you refuse when you tried on the wedding dress?”

“It’s because I tried it on just now that I didn’t want to take wedding photos. And when we will be
holding the wedding, I won’t wear that wedding dress either. Because that’s someone else’s love. I
don’t want to live in another woman’s shadow.”

“In the past, I have always lived for Julian. I would do whatever he says. I have always foolishly thought

he would agree to her idea.

“You can wear wedding rings, right?” Christian did not answer her question. Instead, he looked at her
coldly and asked.

“Yes!” Sarah immediately nodded her head heavily.

“Then let’s go to the jewelry store!” Christian looked at her and shook his wheelchair to leave the
dressing room.
