Chapter 27 Warmth

After changing her shoes at the vestibule, Kelley glanced at Allen's house. The sofa and carpet were
grey, and the closet was black. It was either grey or black. It was very depressing. Kelley couldn't
imagine that such a calm and restrained person like Allen would have such a house. No wonder he
said he had a lot of helplessness in the hospital that day. It seemed that he must be unhappy deep in

"Do you want to have a rest first? We don't need to hurry to have dinner." Allen walked to the sofa and
sat down, motioning for Kelley to sit down and have a rest.

was already late, so she shook her head and said, "You have been driving all the way. I'm not tired at
all. You have a rest first. I'll cook for you."

Allen smiled, "Okay. Do you need my help?"

bags and put it on. It was just a meal, and her cooking skill was already trained well by madam, so she
didn't need anyone to help her.

Allen sat on the sofa and watched Kelley walking towards the kitchen with bags of food. He couldn't tell

warm moment before.

and greeted Allen, "Allen, dinner is ready. Come and serve the dishes."

overflowing. Kelley took out the china bowl and chopsticks from the shopping bag and washed them

with hands."

Allen brought the dishes one by one to the dining room outside the kitchen. The faint warmth in his

Allen raised his head and gave a doting look at Kelley, "You are in a good mood today, aren't you? Do
you want to open a bottle of wine to celebrate?"

"Okay, okay. I haven't drunk yet. How about red wine?" Kelley said.

Allen smiled, stood up and took out a beautiful rectangular box from the storage rack. It was a gift from
his friend when he was on a business trip abroad last month.

The bright liquid danced in the crystal goblet. Kelley ran couldn't wait to pick up the goblet and have a
taste. She frowned and said, "It looks good but it's really bad to drink. Why is it so bad?"

Allen smiled and took several more bottles of wine from the storage rack on a whim. He said to Kelley,
"Since you cook for me tonight, I'll make some drinks for you."
