the Watson family? When you returned home yesterday, you promised me you would part with Jimmy.
Why did you come to see him again?”



Rose said helplessly, “But I haven’t divorced him yet. Now that his life is threatened, I can’t bear to
leave him unattended.”

“Jimmy was sure that you couldn’t make up your mind to leave him. So he pretended to commit suicide
to arouse your pity for him,” Leticia heaved a sigh. “You are too innocent to see him through. If he
intended to kill himself, he would leave no room for rescue.”
