wouldn't be implicated in it.

"Dad, Matthew won't let her hurt me. Am I right, Matthew?"

Seeing that his wife was looking at him for help, Matthew took her phone and put it on his ear. "Dad,
don't worry about it. I'll handle it. I won't let anyone hurt Rika."

"Matthew, aren't you at the company yet?" As a matter of fact, Wesley had read the news early in the
morning but waited to call Erica and scold her at a time he was sure Matthew wouldn't be around.

every word Wesley spoke to his daughter.
