Chapter 39 I&##x27;m Here With You

Because he had just been misunderstood by Windy, Shawn didn't want to talk to her now. After taking a
look at her, he looked away indifferently. His stiff expression seemed to tell the little woman in front of
him that he was still angry!

At this moment, Windy had taken a shower and changed into a set of crimson silk pajamas. Her long

"it's late. Go back to room and go to bed early." then she turned around and left the study...

Windy went back to her bedroom and didn't go to bed. She still slept on the sofa and left the bed to
Shawn.



Maybe Windy was too tired, she fell asleep soon after lying on the sofa. When she was in a daze, she
heard the sound of running water from the bathroom and did not open her eyes. She just had a
nightmare until midnight. She kept shaking her head, with cold sweat on her forehead.

Shawn always had a light sleep. He would be awakened if there was any movement. He suddenly
opened his eyes, turned on the light at the bedside, and turned to look at Windy who was sleeping on
the sofa. She waved her hands in the air and kept shouting, "No, no..."

Shawn frowned slightly, got out of bed and walked towards the sofa. He bent over and shook Windy,
trying to wake her up, "Windy, Windy..."

"No, don't touch me." Windy struggled to push Shawn away.

Shawn patted her on the face gently and said, "Windy, wake up. I'm Shawn."

Windy slowly opened her eyes. When she saw clearly that the man in front of her was Shawn, she
immediately wrapped her arms around his neck and tightly held him, unwilling to let him go. "Shawn,
I'm afraid."

Her sweet and aggrieved voice softened Shawn. Instead of pushing her away, he held her soft body in
his arms and comforted her softly, "Don't be afraid. I'm here with you."

"Okay." Windy nodded and held Shawn tighter. She completely relied on him as her own support.

Seeing her so weak, Shawn didn't have the heart to push her away. He picked her up from the sofa and
walked to the bedside. He was about to put her on the bed and let her continue to sleep, but she didn't
want to let go of his neck. She looked at him pitifully and said, "don't leave me, okay?"

Shawn had never seen Windy so dependent on others. He didn't know why, but he didn't feel annoyed
with her. Instead, he felt a little happy, as if he liked the feeling of being dependent on her.



The voice of Shawn was as gentle as before. He said, "I won't leave. I'll sleep with you, okay?"

Hearing this, even he himself was stunned. Was he crazy or what? Did he say that he would sleep with
Windy?

The dream Windy had just had scared her. She dreamed that she was raped by several men in the
Green Wisteria Park. Now she just wanted to have someone to rely on, so she didn't think too much.
When she heard that Shawn said she would sleep with her, she nodded and said yes, but she still held
his neck tightly, unwilling to let him go.

Shawn felt that Windy was so clingy. He shook his head helplessly and a doting smile appeared on his

his arms, held his waist, and slowly closed her eyes.

When the first ray of morning light shone into the room through the glass window and fell on the

Windy felt that her sleep today was a little different from usual, as if she was held in someone's arms,
and Shawn soon realized that she was in his arms. They seemed to realize something at the same
time. They opened their eyes wide and looked at each other for a few seconds. Then they turned
