“What? Compromised?” Li Guoguo raised her voice and widened her eyes in shock.
Xu Tian frowned slightly and didn’t say anything. She silently agreed with Mo Yan.
Mo Yan buried her head into the document again. They had spent almost a week sorting out the information of Lin Group’s real estate project.
The three of them had originally planned to sort out the data in C City and start working on the plan when they went to Jing City. But now that the information was wrong, they needed to redo the statistics.
Mo Yan was so angry that she grit her teeth. She could guess who had tampered with it.!!
They were all part of Hong Jing. No matter who signed the contract, the company would receive huge profits. Yet, Chen Ya wanted to ruin their shot of collaborating with Lin Group.
As Mo Yan flipped through the pages, Xu Tian’s brows knitted tighter and tighter. Li Guoguo’s expression changed from being in shock to being in fear.
It was because Chen Ya’s move was really ruthless.
90% of the information in these documents was still correct. The remaining 10% was full of hidden mistakes.
The words were mostly misrepresentations or misleading errors, but the numbers were calculated and modified. That meant that without careful calculation and verification, the abnormalities would not have been able to be discovered.
Mo Yan’s heart grew colder and colder. These documents were basically useless now.
Rather than sifting through them again and again to find any mistakes that they had not yet discovered, it was better to make a new copy. However, considering the time it would take for them to redo the statistics… Would they be able to complete the plan in time for the Lin Group meeting in ten days?
“Mo Yan, check if the previous document is backed up on your laptop.”
Just as Mo Yan was calculating how much time they had, Xu Tian suddenly spoke.
Mo Yan quickly took out her laptop. As long as the previous document was backed up, even if the information was not complete, it could still save them some time.

Mo Yan said these two words with a heavy heart.
Listening to the conversation between the two, Li Guoguo also turned on her laptop, and the result was the same.
Li Guoguo looked at the documents on the table helplessly, bit her lower lip and said, “Why don’t we use these first? Every time we use the statistics inside, we will double check it first. This should be okay!”
“No,” Xu Tian said sternly without waiting for Mo Yan to speak.
Mo Yan was startled by Xu Tian’s voice. Although she agreed with Xu Tian, she didn’t expect Xu Tian to have such a big reaction.
“Sister… Sister Xu.” Li Guoguo was also quite frightened, and even her words were a little shaky.

“Okay.” Mo Yan patted Li Guoguo’s head to comfort her.
After discussing, they finally decided that Xu Tian would stay alone in the hotel during the day to sort out the information. Mo Yan and Li Guoguo would go do their inspections. At night, the three of them would work together to restore the documents as soon as possible.
As for why they had given the task of sorting out the documents to Xu Tian, Mo Yan had casually asked how Xu Tian had discovered that the documents had mistakes.
Xu Tian’s answer was that she had a very deep impression of the project. She felt that the numbers were off, so she went to double check them.
It was also because of this sentence that Mo Yan suddenly remembered that Xu Tian’s memory was really good.
When she was checking the documents just now, there were a few pages where Xu Tian was able to quickly point out the mistakes, whereas Mo Yan was too flustered to notice them.
After making a plan, the three of them started working.
It wasn’t until dinner time that someone knocked on their door. They were here to invite everyone down for dinner. They had just arrived in Jing City and had yet to meet the other three who had arrived first. Everyone could get to know each other though eating dinner together.
After tidying up their things, Mo Yan and the other two went out. Unfortunately, they ran into Chen Ya and her followers in the corridor.
