Book 8: Chapter 3: Fusang

Bai Qiuran waved the Tranquil Autumn Water and used the current of the sea to suck the last ghost ship into the sky.
There, under his control, the endless seawater has turned into a huge water cell suspended in mid-air, trapping the entire Underworld troop inside.
The endless seawater blocked these ghosts and oppressed them. Due to being dead, they didn’t need to breathe, so Bai Qiuran didn’t have to worry about drowning them.
“Is this god’s authority?”
The other three girls held their chins and pointed at the blue long sword in Bai Qiuran’s hand.
“Indeed. I am afraid that only weapons refined by a god’s authority can withstand his power.”
“But… Qiuran.”
Su Xiangxue asked again:
“Why do people in the Underworld trouble you? Did you do something wrong?”
“I didn’t do anything wrong, nor did I provoke the Underworld.”
Bai Qiuran said:
“But I can probably guess who gave me the wanted order.”
“Who is it?”
Tang Ruowei and Li Jinyao are very curious.
“Who else can there be.”
Wise Immortal flew up from Bai Qiuran’s belt and said slowly:
“Of course, it’s damned Heaven.”
As soon as it fell, a thunderstorm flashed in the sky, and the thunderbolt blasted, but Bai Qiuran looked up and the thunder and lightning disappeared without a trace.
“Look, ‘bullying the weak and being afraid of the strong’ is like this.”
Wise Immortal said deceptively.
“But how do you deal with these ghosts?”
Su Xiangxue asked:
“If you kill them rashly, it will disturb the order of heaven and earth.”
“I’m not going to kill them.”
The Underworld was created by Bai Qiuran himself, wouldn’t killing these ghosts be equivalent to killing his own creation?
He raised his head and looked into the water cell. Xue Ling happened to be floating on the edge of the water cell. Seeing him looking over, the dead man’s face was beating the sea wall of the cell, and yelled through the sound transmission technique:
“Quickly let us go back, there are still thousands of dead people stuck in my place.”
“If I let you out, do you still want to catch me?”
Bai Qiuran asked.
“That’s a must.”
Xue Ling replied straightforwardly:
“There are no exceptions on the Underworld’s wanted list.”
“Then I can’t help it.”
Bai Qiuran shook his head.
“At least until my wife and I meet, I want you to stay here.”
“That’s impossible!”
Xue Ling raised her voice and said:
“Do you know how many dead people need us to deal with every day?”
“Then do you still want to catch me?”
“Of course.”
Bai Qiuran began to wonder if something went wrong when he created the Underworld.
I haven’t noticed it before, but now it seems that Xue Ling’s mind is too straight.
“Then there’s no way.”
Bai Qiuran said to Xue Ling:
“Anyway, I know the Underworld. The bank next to the Styx is so big that people who are wronged can play with sand and stones on the bank for a few days.”
“How do you know how big the Styx’s bank is?”
Xue Ling asked.
Bai Qiuran ignored him and a group of clamoring ghosts, asked Su Xiangxue to turn the bow and was ready to move on in the direction of Fusang.
“Is it okay to do this?”
Tang Ruowei turned her head and glanced at the ghosts who were sealed in the water jail.
“No problem, just a few days.”
Bai Qiuran did not go to see Xue Ling and the others.
“They are not the only people in the Underworld, and I still know how big the Styx bank is.”
As a result, the bow of the ship had just moved, and Xue Ling called them again.
“Wait! I won’t catch you anymore.”
Xue Ling shouted at Bai Qiuran.
“What’s happening?”
Bai Qiuran asked Su Xiangxue to stop the boat, raising her head and asking:

Xue Ling paused and asked:

“They will regret it.”
Bai Qiuran shook his head.
“But the Soul Takers, especially Xue Ling, will never say one thing and do another thing.”
Sure enough, after letting them go, Xue Ling led his subordinates into the void without saying a word. As soon as he left, the thunderclouds scattered, and even the sea beasts in the nearby sea area were all taken away.
Bai Qiuran and his party continued on the road, and under the protection of Tranquil Autumn Water, which had the power of the sea, there were hardly any sea beasts along the way, so they successfully came to Fusang.

The labor and civilians who came and went into the harbor saw such a big ship docking, and even made a special trip to watch.

Su Xiangxue looked at the civilians and shook her head.
“The average physical fitness of these people is weaker than that of ordinary people in the Nine Provinces and Ten Lands. Is it undernourishment?”
“They have too few resources.”
Bai Qiuran thought for a while.
“It seems that Lan has not interfered too much in this mortal world.”
Li Jinyao pouted when she heard Bai Qiuran use such an intimate address to address a woman she had never met before.
“Senior Bai, where is your wife?”
“I don’t know. I originally left her on the sacred tree of Fusang, under the care of the two goddesses, Xihe and Sanzuwu, but now…”
Bai Qiuran looked up at the sky.
“Even the sacred tree of Fusang has changed its location. My disciple has changed the world too thoroughly.”
“Then where do we start looking?”
Su Xiangxue asked.
“Go ashore first.”
Bai Qiuran shook his head.
“Fusang is not big anyway, so I should play with you.”
Hearing what he said, the three girls were a little happy.
When they got ashore, the group dismissed some stinky rascals and ronin warriors who were coveting beautiful treasures and rejected the local names who came afterward, and then hurriedly left there.
The boat was restrained by Su Xiangxue and Li Jinyao jointly, so there was no need to worry about being stolen. The four of them left the town and then proceeded along a road at will.
A day later, they came to an inhabited village.
