Little Yichen said, “It’s not a big deal to mess things up. However if uncle regrets it halfway and can’t bear for Mommy to marry Daddy, and if you were to run away taking Mommy with him, what would Daddy do?”
The two little guys bantered back and forth.
Yun Shishi giggled.
Gong Jie’s face turned ashen. “If I couldn’t bear it, would I have specially rushed back to the country? For Yueyao’s sake, I wouldn’t ruin the wedding.”
He was not so pretentious.
He had silently accepted the fact that Mu Yazhe was his brother-in-law.
Yun Shishi added, “The main reason is that the best man can’t be too handsome. Otherwise, if he steals the limelight from the groom, she’ll be head over heels for him!”
