Piper: Apologies for all the missed updates / inconsistent posts. I've gotten myself into a massive slump that somehow managed to slice always the one habit that I kept all throughout COVID thus far (posting MGCH Chapters). I already dropped one of my classes, and to be honest, I purposely gave myself a hefty workload this quarter so that I could force myself out of this lack of motivation. Unfortunately it backfired when over half of my classes went online for the quarter (we were told it'd all be in-person than omicron came… :'). Now I ignore all my in-person classes since I don't want to walk the 30 minutes uphill to campus, and I don't deem it worth it for a lecture that's recorded online and "I plan to watch later anyway" Surprise surprise, it's now later and I'm hella behind having watched almost nothing. I really hate covid at this point. NGL as I'm writing this I'm missing a math assignment, since the math got too advanced and I didn't give myself enough time to learn it before the homework was due, I feel like I'm missing deadlines and filing partitions to fix the missing deadlines right, left, up and down. I also haven't left my room in ages. What happened to High School motivation? Covid and being stuck in my room did. It really sucks. For all of you going through similar things, it won't get better by itself, covid is never going to end, there's always going to be a new strand, and frankly the only way I can see myself getting out of this is to lift myself up by the bootstraps and stop working in my room. Perseverance always wins over motivation. Hopefully others realize this is never going to end too and I can get back to in person classes, and a decent sleep schedule… :")
