Ling Tianyi kept embracing Xia Xiaoluo to warm her. What was more, he took off his scarf and the down coat to warm her head and her body.
“Darling, don’t do that! Keep yourself warm!” Xia Xiaoluo shivered out of chill.
“Don’t move! It’s my duty to look after you!” Ling Tianyi ignored what Xia Xiaoluo said and tried his best to protect her. He loved Xia Xiaoluo, so he must protect her even though he was suffering from coldness.
“Darling, keep yourself warm…” Xia Xiaoluo murmured. Although she was still cold, she felt warm in her heart.
“Darling, I’m wearing the cashmere sweater you made for me, and it’s warm!” Ling Tianyi said. However, he sneezed at once.
“No! Take your… coat on!” Xia Xiaoluo wanted to take Ling Tianyi’s down coat off. However, she didn’t make it because she was embraced tightly by Ling Tianyi.
At that time, a voice came from the loudspeaker in the ski resort.
“Dear visitors, we have called the rescue team! Please clam down and hold on! Don’t sleep or close your eyes! Please hold on…”
“Shit! We will become ice sculptures when they come!”
A visitor shouted, making Xia Xiaoluo feel surprised.
Ling Tianyi was so upset and furious that he really wanted to beat the management company of the ski resort. But he tried his best to control his temper because Xia Xiaoluo would be scared if he lost his temper.

“Well, how about going to Australia instead! It’s summer there now. We can enjoy the summer and see the kangaroos. Do you like it?” Ling Tianyi kept talking to Xia Xiaoluo. She didn’t know they were in danger, but Ling Tianyi knew that they would never wake up if they fell asleep under such conditions.
“I like it! That’s settled.” Xia Xiaoluo tried her best to smile to him.
“I will never lie to you! I will keep my words!” Ling Tianyi kissed her cold eyes. Except for her eyes, nose and mouth, Xia Xiaoluo’s whole body was covered by him.
Finally, the rescue team arrived.
Ling Tianyi and Xia Xiaoluo were saved.
They were sent into the ambulance. Xia Xiaoluo felt better immediately because of the air conditioner there. She asked Ling Tianyi, “Darling, are you better now?”
“Darling! Darling!” Ling Tianyi lost his consciousness. Xia Xiaoluo couldn’t wake him up, so she became anxious.
“Doctor, what happened to my husband? He was talking to me just now, but why is he unconscious now?” Xia Xiaoluo burst into tears.
“He gave all his clothes to you, so he suffered a lot from the coldness. He tried his best to hold on. He became unconscious because he felt relieved. Please don’t worry. We will save him!” The doctor said. He thought that Ling Tianyi was a real man because he protected Xia Xiaoluo.
Seeing Ling Tianyi’s handsome but pale face, a nurse decided to find a responsible man like him who was willing to try his best to protect her.
After the thorough check, Xia Xiaoluo had a low fever. It was not serious, so she just took the injection and some medicine. But she kept staying with Ling Tianyi.
However, Ling Tianyi still had a high fever.
“Darling, wake up!” Staying in the ward, Xia Xiaoluo took Ling Tianyi’s hands and said, “I’m so scared!”
Xia Xiaoluo kept looking after Ling Tianyi, but Ling Tianyi didn’t get better.
“I should call someone for help! Right!”
Being anxious, Xia Xiaoluo found Ling Tianyi’s mobile phone and called Chu Wei.
“Hello, Manager Ling!” Chu Wei answered.
“Brother Chu Wei, this is Xia Xiaoluo.” Xia Xiaoluo burst into tears.
“Xiaoluo, what happened? Anything serious happened to Manager Ling? Don’t cry!” Chu Wei became nervous because Ling Tianyi would never let Xia Xiaoluo call him if he could do it by himself. He realized that something bad happened.
“He has had a high fever for the whole night, the doctor said that he would be in danger if he did not get better! The doctor wasn’t able to look after him all the time because there were many patients here. Do you know anyone who can ask the doctors to look after him in M City? He is unconscious, so I’m very scared!” Xia Xiaoluo said. He thought that Chu Wei might know some officials of M City since he knew the mayor of Y City.
“What? What happened? It’s impossible!” Chu Wei was shocked because Ling Tianyi was strong. He has never had a fever before.
Xia Xiaoluo told him what happened in the ski resort. “Please trust me! He has a fever and remains unconscious! I can only call you! Please help me! Brother Chu Wei!”
Chu Wei knew what happened. A lot of people were sent to the hospital due to the accident. Therefore, Ling Tianyi was neglected.
“Xiaoluo, don’t worry! I will call the staff in the branch company in M City and the government there! Keep this mobile phone available, and I will call you later!”

“Never mind. It’s my duty because I’m Manager Ling’s assistant! Tell me where you are now!” Chu Wei said.
“We are in the Ward 311 of the People’s Hospital of M City!” Xia Xiaoluo answered.
Xia Xiaoluo hung up. In a few minutes, the dean and several experienced doctors came to treat Ling Tianyi. After half an hour, the manager of the branch company of Huasheng Group in M City together with several staff came as well. After an hour, some officials of M City arrived.
Ling Tianyi was sent to the VIP ward full of flowers and fruit baskets.
“Doctor, how is he now?” Xia Xiaoluo asked.
“Madam, don’t worry! We will try our best to treat Manager Ling!” The doctor spoke to Xia Xiaoluo politely. He ignored Xia Xiaoluo when she asked him to treat Ling Tianyi, because he was busy treating a rich man born with a silver spoon. Now he has changed his attitude.
“Madam, we will discuss how to treat Manager Ling immediately. Our hospital is one of the top three hospitals in M City, and the doctors here are all professional. We will try our best. Please don’t worry!” The dean said.
The officials began to shake hands with Xia Xiaoluo one by one, which made Xia Xiaoluo confused.

At noon, Chu Wei who has just gone back to A City arrived at M City.
