Chapter 345 I didn’t allow you to leave

“No, my taste is okay. I think the wine is abnormal. Does it deteriorate?” Ye Sichen said and glanced at Di Luoke.
Di Luoke understood, stood up, walked over, and took Ye Sichen’s wine.
Ge Li and Mrs. Ni didn’t know the reason, so they just looked at Ye Sichen.
Xia Nuan didn’t know what Ye Sichen wanted to do. She was confused, too.
Di Luoke took the wine into his room. No one knew what Di Luoke did inside, except Ye Sichen.
The atmosphere in the living room changed. The previous harmony vanished little by little. A feeling of suffocating depression and tension spread from Ye Sichen.
The three children also forgot to have their meal, who supported their faces by arms together, watching Ye Sichen curiously, and whispering occasionally.
“What will Uncle Luoke do to dad’s wine?”
“I’m even more curious about what it is in the wine.”

Xia Nuan had the illusion that a storm would come. In order not to harm kids, Xia Nuan decided to take kids to the bedroom first. She didn’t want them to see something unpleasant or unsuitable.
“I’m going to accompany kids upstairs to have a rest, Ye Sichen.” Xia Nuan whispered in Ye Sichen’s ear as she tried to break away from him.
His hand attached to Xia Nuan’s hand tightly to make her stay here. He smiled and said beside her ear, “I want you and the kids to watch a wonderful show.”
Xia Nuan frowned, and looked at Ye Sichen’s eyes.
She never knew what Ye Sichen would do in a second.
Mrs. Ni was a little displeased when she saw Ye Sichen and Xia Nuan’s mysterious look. She tried to keep her voice as gentle as possible, speaking slowly to Ye Sichen, “The kids should go upstairs to study after eating. Xia Nuan, you take them to the bedroom. Ge Li, you help him go to another bedroom to rest.”
Di Luoke came out of his room when Ge Li was about to go.
“Luoke, is the wine okay?”
Ye Sichen asked Di Luoke in a low voice.
Di Luoke answered truthfully, “Sir, this glass of wine is mixed with a psychedelic drug. If you take that drug mistakenly, you will lose the control of your heart. You might do something ridiculous or unexpected.”
“Say it frankly, or somebody will not understand.” Ye Sichen smiled coldly.
Di Luoke looked embarrassed, “It’s… a kind of aphrodisiac.”
There was a flash of surprise in Ge Li and Mrs. Ni’s eyes.
Xia Nuan looked at Ge Li and seemed to understand something. Di Luoke meant that the wine Ge Li gave Ye Sichen was drugged.
However, Ge Li looked surprised. It seemed to indicate that she did not do it.
“Ge Li, why did you drug me? I don’t understand.” Ye Sichen asked Ge Li naturally, but his eyes were cold like frost, which made people scared.
“Sir, it’s not me. I didn’t do it.” Ge Li looked innocent.
Mrs. Ni also pleaded for Ge Li, “Ge Li is an educated girl, who would never do such a thing.” Then she looked at Xia Nuan, with a trace of doubt in her eyes.
“However, Ge Li gave it to me. And it was drugged. Madam, do you think your statements are reasonable?”
“Uh…” Mrs. Ni couldn’t find a reason. She wanted to transfer this to Xia Nuan, but it was Ge Li who toasted him, not Xia Nuan.
Meng Zuo looked at Ge Li angrily, “Ge Li, who allows you to trick sir?”
“Dad, I didn’t do it. I really didn’t.” Ge Li did not do it of course, but no one believed her.

Meng Zuo felt shameful, as if his face was slapped hard. He was so embarrassed that he couldn’t stay in the room. He came out and stood in front of Ye Sichen with Ge Li, “Sir, I didn’t teach my daughter well.”
“Uncle Zuo, don’t say that. Who hasn’t made a mistake? Correct it then.” Ye Sichen said softly.
“Ge Li, you apologize to sir now. And promise that you won’t do it again!” Meng Zuo felt that he was ashamed of this daughter. He ordered Ge Li to apologize to Ye Sichen and to break that thought.
Ge Li cried with tears, watching Ye Sichen, “Sir, I didn’t do it. I can swear…”
Slap!
As she said, Meng Zuo slapped her, “You are still obsessed with it! Since you are going to die, you can go for it! You are not my daughter! I told you to stay with them in faith. I didn’t ask you to trick him!”
Ge Li covered her face and looked at Meng Zuo with extreme anger.
She turned to leave, but was stopped by Mrs. Ni.
“Enough, Zuo. I asked Ge Li to do this. Do you want me to apologize to Chen? Ge Li did what I asked. She is not guilty.” Mrs. Ni tried to admit everything to protect Ge Li.
“Mom, you are wrong. I will not accept Ge Li, because I have always regarded her as my sister. I only love my wife. I don’t care about her background. She is the person I am looking for. No one will prevent me from being with her.” Yi Sichen said soberly. It seemed that he didn’t get drunk.
Xia Nuan was touched when she heard Ye Sichen’s words.
She felt sweet in her belly gradually.
Ge Li’s hope was wiped out. Her view also became dark.
Mrs. Ni was sullen. She pinched Ge Li’s hands, “Ge Li, let’s go back to the room.”
The kids looked at this scene and felt like watching a conspiracy movie. When Ge Li and Mrs. Ni left, they all sighed.
Meng Zuo still felt guilty. Ye Sichen supported Meng Zuo, comforted him, and asked somebody to take him to rest.
“Luoke, remember to check the meal for my wife and three children after I leave.” Ye Sichen said.
“Yes, sir. I know. Like before.” Di Luoke said lightly.
Xia Nuan seemed to understand something from his words. After Di Luoke left, Ye Sichen and Xia Nuan took three children to their room.
“What did Di Luoke mean?” Xia Nuan asked Ye Sichen.
Ye Sichen sighed, “Nothing. I used to ask him to check the food before meals. I’m worried about you and the kids. Although Mrs. Ni is my mother, I always keep in mind what you said.”
Ye Sichen looked tired and sat on the sofa.
Seeing he was drunk, Xia Nuan stood up to pour a cup of tea for him. However, Ye Sichen didn’t give her this opportunity. He held her hand and made her fall in his arms.
Alcohol and male hormones filled her senses. She became excited, and her hands pressed slightly on his chest.
“I’m thinking for you and kids.”
Xia Nuan looked at him and fell into his love net again. She stopped struggling and let him hug her.
“Ge Li did drug you?” Xia Nuan knew that Ge Li did not do it because she didn’t have the courage. Of course, it might be that Mrs. Ni ordered her. But according to Mrs. Ni’s expression, she might not know.
Ye Sichen’s warm fingers touched her cheeks, “Of course not, she didn’t have the courage. However, she always wants to do it.”
Hearing this, Xia Nuan was stunned.
Ye Sichen said attractively and lazily, “I put it in the glass quietly after she handed it to me. No one see it.” He smiled coldly, “Nuan, they should pay for the slap.”
“It has already gone. Don’t mention it.”
“If it really passed, you wouldn’t be so cold to me during this period. I always believed in you that you wouldn’t beat her for no reason. She must do something which made you unbearable. In that case, I have to slap you first. After all, I have to give Meng Zuo a feedback. I’m really sorry.” Ye Sichen said in guilt.
Xia Nuan didn’t answer him but accepted his apology quietly.
“She framed you, so I make her feel it.” Ye Sichen kissed Xia Nuan’s lips, “It’s a lesson for Mrs. Ni to stop asking me to be with her.”
Xia Nuan listened silently. Her depression was relieved in the past few days. Then, she began to worry about another problem, “Have a rest. You’re going to leave the island.”
“So, you are not mad at me?” Ye Sichen kept saying.
“How can I be mad at you?” Xia Nuan lifted the hand around her waist, “You should rest.”
“No, you stay here. I will not allow you to leave.” Ye Sichen held Xia Nuan in a domineering but gentle manner.
The kids giggled.
“Hee hee hee!”
The three children hid behind the crack of the door, covered their mouths and chuckled.
Xia Nuan felt embarrassed. She pushed Ye Sichen away, “Let me go.”
