“Thank you both for your help!” Du Xiaoli saluted them back, “But why do you all call me Mistress?”
“I told them to address you as such,” Luo Qi interjected. “Don’t forget that you are my little sister, so everyone from the Four Seas Manor must call you Mistress when they see you.”
“Reporting to Prince Ding, those people killed themselves with poison.” A deputy general came forward.
“They’re all dead?” Ji Liufeng asked.
“Yes. They all had poison in their mouths, so…” The deputy general confirmed.
“Damn it!” Ji Liufeng cursed, then ordered, “Go and remove their masks and see if any of them are people we know.”
“Yes.” That same deputy general led them down.
Du Xiaoli looked at the corpses strewn across the ground, “Luo Qi-gege, wait a second.”
After saying this, she turned to the carriage, “Princess, go in first.”

She sighed, “Give the injured ones a makeshift bandage so they can hold on until we get to Lu City. Those soldiers who died, dig a pit and bury them.”
“Then what about these corpses?”
Du Xiaoli looked around. There were more than a hundred people on the other side as well; they couldn’t just be left to die in the wilderness.
“Are there many wild animals here?”
“Food is scarce here so everyone hunts. There shouldn’t be many animals,” Ji Liufeng said.

“They won’t. These are all Han Mingyi’s people, all of them are loyal only to him.” Ji Liufeng said with certainty.
“Luo Qi-gege, you don’t have to worry too much. My strength has improved a little more again. Even if people do find out about it, I’ll be able to handle it,” Du Xiaoli said, seeing Luo Qi’s unease.

As for Mu Shan and Mu Shui, they would have to walk back.
