The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb was attacking the Ebonfiend, while the Gladean Ruins attacked Taixi City! It was the opposite of what he had expected. Neither the ebons nor the Infinitum Army could make sense of it.
"Is Xiaodao crazy or mentally ill? Instead of sitting back and watching the tigers fight, he’s going to help Yi Daiyan? Doesn't he know that his actions will doom the Swordgod Lin Clan?" Shenxi Ling'e said, her voice cold.
"Yi Daiyan isn’t a good person. Xiaodao’s clearly digging his own grave. Has he been poisoned? Why would he do such an incredibly stupid thing? See if you can contact him!" Shenxi Xuanxi was anxious.
The addition of an infinitum-class astralship could change the entire battle. If the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb were to attack the Greenhill Yushan Clan, they would be quickly annihilated.

Shenxi Xingtian's transmission stone flickered but there was no answer. Beads of sweat revealed his uneasiness. Both Tianming and Xiaodao ignored him, which indicated that they were determined to fight.
"You’re ruthless! You... you!” He vomited blood. This was his most desperate and devastating moment. Despite the previous defeats, he still had faith, but at his most confident, his best-laid plans were ruined by the defection of the two astralships. His goal was to defend Taixi City and destroy the other Infinitum Regal Clans, but capturing Greenhill was now impossible, and Taixi City might be decimated.
"Yi Daiyan’s here! Come back at once! The beast wave is receding!" Shenxi Xuanxi's shrill voice sounded from the other end of the transmission stone, her words laced with despair.

The moment it escaped from the clutches of the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, countless vines shot up from the ground, wrapping the tomb in thousands of layers. Meanwhile, the nova wildbeasts cleared the way for the Ebonfiend. The ebons’ plan of capturing Greenhill while defending their city had completely crumbled. All they wanted now was to defend Taixi City.

There were only two ways for the Ebonfiend to quickly reach Taixi City. The first was to return to Ebonopolis and use the passage that connected the two bases. Neither method was as convenient as taking the underground passages of Taixi City and would waste time. In order to save Taixi City, many of the top nova wildbeasts headed back at once, but it was already too late. The ebons would have to rely on the Ebonfiend alone. Thus, Greenhill declared that they had survived the battle.
The bloodline wisteria was still trying its hardest to trap the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, but the beast wave had receded. News of the tomb’s triumph over the Ebonfiend spread across the star through transmission stones, reaching every household in every city. The entire world knew that Lin Feng and Lin Xiaodao of the Swordgod Lin Clan stood on the side of the Infinitum Bodhimanda, the side of righteousness.
