The car slows down. He turns and looks at me with smiling eyes.

Steven Song looks at me with a smirk, as playful as he used to be.

“You think too much.” I roll my eyes to him and say angrily, “Frances Louis and I quarreled, then my
brother disappeared. I thought It was Frances Louis who took him away, so I waited at his door all
night, and then I had a fever. It's nearly 40℃, which almost burned me to death.”

“What a pity! I thought there was a good scene between you two.”

The look of disappointment on Steven Song's face makes me want to punch him.

“You want me to come up, not just for asking about me and Frances Louis, right?” I ask.

“Of course not.” He shakes his head and says to me, “I've called you here because I need your help.”
