Chapter 5: 05

Ace looked at her with a soft smile before interlocking his hands with hers. "I just got into a little fight
with my sister." Lia frowned slightly but nodded her head. She didn't know much about his family ,
maybe they were crazy.

"Okay! Well guess what Ace , I asked my mom to buy you something." She lets his hands go and she
pulled a white box out of her bag. "Open it quickly." She demands as she she smiles up at him.

Ace was hesitant before he opened it and saw a gold necklace. "Now we're matching see." She pulled
out her necklace and showed it to him. The necklace hand a heart on it making Ace smile . He kissed
her cheek and she blushed like always .

"Thank you Lia." He said sincerely . He was too cherish this necklace to the day he dies. He puts the
necklace on and then they start walking around the hallways.

Ace had to tell Lia something important . He wasn't going to be around for a couple of days because he
had to take care of work in a different city . He didn't want to leave her but he had too. "Lia I have
something to tell you."

Lia nodded her head as as she stopped and stood in front of him. She was swinging there interlocks
hands with the brightest smile ever. It made him want to kiss her right on the spot. "I won't be here for a
couple of days. I have to visit family."

She slowly looked at him and saddened. Her frown growing but she made she not to cry in front of him
again . "Okay have fun! Though I'll miss you dearly." She was angry . It was obvious to the oblivious.
She lets his hands go and starts walking to her class.

Ace looked at her before catching up with her and he grabbed her hand forcefully. "What's wrong with
you baby?" He coos as he caresses her cheek. He lifted her chin and her lip was quivering . "I'll be
back soon don't worry." He laughed as he pulled her in a hug.



Lia felt warm but still angry that he was leaving. She slowly hugged him back tightly and then they
departed. "Fine." She mumbles. Ace loved how she was being and soon they went off to class.

Ace was on the plane with the most dull expression ever. He didn't want to be here in another city away
from Lia. Even though they've just met , he could see himself loving her. "Sir. The shipments we
ordered yesterday have securely made it too the warehouse." He smirks proudly as he starts to make
his way out of the plane.

"That's good ." He mumbles dryly as he storms his way to his personal car. In the car , there was a
woman he so badly wanted to avoid. "Jasmine what are you doing?"

Jasmine. A twenty year old woman who had blonde locks and attractive blue eyes. She was slim and
she was tall. Just what men desire the most. Jasmine was arranged to marry Ace but Ace only said no
. That didn't stop his father's mother from arranging it.

"Ace darling ! I came to visit you. I've missed you so dearly." Ace groaned as he finally sat down and
looked out of the window.

"How the f- I mean , how did you get in here?" Ace remember his promise to Lia but he knew it would
be hard. Jasmine looked at him weirdly before shrugging and relaxing in the car.

"Well your men listen to me as much as they listen to you ." She says with a low smirk.

Ace only glared at her as the car began driving. "Don't think for a second that I wouldn't kill you. I will
never marry you now get it through your sick head." He says with a glare only making Jasmine smirk.

She did the unexpected and hopped on his lap. Her legs fitting perfectly on his waist making Ace groan
in frustration. "Get off me Jasmine before I do something I regret." She didn't listen only began kissing



his neck. The place he liked the most.

He grins as he pulls a gun out and points it to her back. She stiffened before looking at him with wide
eyes. "A-Ace what are you doing?" She whispers as the gun trailed down her back.

"Now be a good girl and do as I say. " He smiles wickedly as she got off his lap with a glare and sat on
the other side of the car.

She huffed in defeat as she looked outside of the window. Minutes later they arrived to the place and
Ace told Jasmine to stay in the car even though she put up a fight . "When I'm back I want that girl out
of my car. The next time she comes , she can't be near me understand?"

His men shuddered before they nodded , nonetheless, and walked into the mansion. When they
walked in there was a party going on , only making Ace groan. He hated loud places like this. "We don't
need to kill anyone we don't want too." Noah , Ace's closest friend, says with a smirk.

Noah was really the only person he could trust fully so whatever he said he would most likely agree
with. "If you say so. Though didn't I tell you I didn't want you to come to this meeting? It's too
dangerous." Ace says with worry. He really was worried after his friend getting shot . He almost died
but luckily they had the best surgeon there to help him .

"I'm fine now. The shot barely even hurt." Noah said as he smirked at his friend. Ace was hesitant
before he nodded his head and they went to the back where company was awaiting them.

Ace opened the door and saw a man with a suit and a suitcase. A bunch of angry men stood behind
him. "John! It's good to see you." Ace said but he didn't mean much at all. "Do you have what I've
asked for?" He smirked .

"Yeah whatever take it." He got up and shoved the suitcase into him. That only ticked Ace off and his
bodyguards stopped John before he could leave.



"That's no way to talk to someone who's giving you money now is it! Apologize." Noah says with a gun
pointed to his head. John wasn't afraid at all. He was ready to die. His scrawny bodyguards left him
making John glare at them.

"Go on shoot kid you think I give a rat's a-

Then Noah shot him with a bored expression on his face. "Well that wasn't fun at all." Noah said with a
sigh.

Ace only laughed as he stepped over the dead body. They walked out of the club and then Ace's phone
buzzed. It was Lia's name making his heartbeat once again pick up. "Hi Ace!"

Just to hear her voice made him relaxed and gripped his phone tighter. "Hey Lia . What are you doing?"

She licks her lips as she stares at the movie playing on the TV screen. "I'm watching scary movies."
She shudder but continued watching because she likes watching them. Ace was a little hesitant on
letting her watch them but he only sighed.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" He laughs as he gets in the car.

"I don't think so. I'm probably gonna have nightmares." She sarcastically says as she closes her eyes
at the blood coming out of the man. Ace shook his , dumbfounded, but dropped the subject. "I miss
you." She whispers feeling herself saddened .

Ace inhaled deeply with a sad smile before speaking. "I miss you too. When I come back let's go
somewhere okay?" He asks and she quickly agreed to it . "Okay then I'll see you in a couple of days."

"Okay! Cya." She giggles as she hanged up because she wanted the last words.

She soon feel asleep. Feeling more happier than ever. Clutching her little gold necklace.
