Chapter 38 A Great Display of Power

“You’re the ones that are going to get lost!”
Ding Hao did not dodge the strike and also swung his palm.
In the early dawn, a faint bolt of silver flashed by.
The air was instantly chilled, as if it were the dead of winter, and everyone shivered.
Nangong Zheng’s force was instantly dissolved by the cold.

With a dull sound, Ding Hao’s and Nangong Zheng’s palms crashed together.
A force swept out in all directions.
A bit of faint frost trickled out from Nangong Zheng’s hand.
“Your Dark Qi…” Before he could finish speaking, Nangong Zheng’s face paled, and he was thrown off of the stairs like a broken kite.
At the same time, Ding Hao landed firmly on the stairs.
“Senior brother Nangong…” The other purple robed disciples shouted.
Nangong Zheng was not the top disciples on the waiting list in the Southern courtyard, but he was definitely highly ranked. No one expected this teal robed young man to defeat him with one move.
This was incredible to the other purple robed disciples.

The teal robed disciples immediately burst into cheers, their faces flushed with excitement. They roared loudly as if they had just had frozen watermelons under the sun, in encouragement of Ding Hao.
“How dare you sneak attack one of us?” A purple robed disciple was enraged and said with a wave of his hand, “Let’s all teach this boy a lesson!”
The rest of the purple robed disciples all swarmed up at once.
“Sneak attack? Hahaha, is that enough to anger you? You think that you can beat up us Eastern courtyard disciples, but we can’t touch you at all? Get down!”
Ding Hao laughed and welcomed the attack.
He used this as a chance to test how much his combat force had grown since entering the one-apertured realm.
He did not even have to use his sword.
Using the “Great Swan Steps” he flew through the air gracefully and rushed into the crowd like a wolf into a flock of sheep.

The disciple at the front exclaimed in shock and was struck in the chest by Ding Hao before he could respond, toppling off the stairs.
“Next one, come on!” Ding Hao yelled violently as he gained momentum.

Another two disciples swung their palms at Ding Hao, but they were no match for him. Their hands were instantly snapped, and they fell off the stairs as they spewed blood.
“Two more, come one!”
This time, instead of Ding Hao yelling, the surrounding teal robed disciples all helped Ding Hao count.
Including Nangong Zheng, Ding Hao had just defeated four people in a matter of seconds like it was a piece of cake.
He cackled and began increasing his attack.
He moved forward like lightning using the Great Swan Steps.

A series of collisions arose.
Ding Hao left a stream of defeated figures behind him and snaked through the crowd, making it hard to follow him.
He flitted through the Southern courtyard disciples and was undefeatable.
In an instant, the remaining six disciples were all sent flying like mannequins, crashing terribly at the foot of the stairs.
The purple robed Southern courtyard disciples were all as good as dead.
They had all claimed to be invincible, but none of them stood a chance against a single move from Ding Hao.

There was only Ding Hao left on the stairs.
The wind fluttered his robe, and the sunlight spilled on his handsome face, as if he was a majestic statue.
All his fellow disciples gazed at him in awe.
Their original excitement and rowdiness had turned into sheer wonder.
They knew that Ding Hao was powerful, but they clearly had no idea how powerful he was.
In the beginning, they were hoping that Ding Hao could win a few rounds to save face for them. They were not expecting him to plow through 10 disciples at once, like a wolf ravaging a flock of sheep.
After a few moments of silence, their blood began to boil.
They shouted Ding Hao’s name crazily.

“I love you, senior brother Ding!” An enthralled female disciple shouted.
This experience brought all the teal robed disciples to Ding Hao’s side and made them his strongest supporters.
They chanted “senior brother Ding” as their life depended on it.
Meanwhile, the black and blue defeated Southern courtyard disciples were ridiculed by the Eastern courtyard crowd.
“Hey, Nangong Zheng, didn’t you say you could singlehandedly defeat our courtyard? How come you can’t take a single move from senior brother Ding?”
“Hahaha, I’ve seen this kind of idiot who can talk the talk but can’t walk the walk!”
