Things were different at the Airborne Realm, as the newly found greater control allowed one to mold their Spiritual Qi into many other things.
Only the likes of Lu Xuan, who was a reincarnated monster of insane levels of power, would have been capable of such impeccable control while still being at the Celestial Realm. One would have needed to rely on some kind of power items in order to do so otherwise.

When the power of the Golden Bone and Jade Skin was activated, he would gain extreme defensive powers unlike any other.
At present, that was but the first stage of the power—his jade-colored skin had no problem taking direct hits from missiles.
If he were to train until he was even able to make his bones gold, his defense would reach even greater heights, and the change would be unimaginable.
According to tests he performed back in his past life, by the time he reached the second stage of the Golden Bone and Jade Skin, he would be able to survive a blast even from nuclear arms unscathed so long as it was not a direct hit.
