Chapter 38 Expelled From The Village

Horace invited Lucy, to the firewood room, followed by people from the Tang family.

She had long heard that most of the villagers gathered in front of Wendy's door, probably more lively
than when they were setting off firecrackers in the Spring Festival. She would teach them a lesson.

"Mr. Horace, what's wrong?"

She glanced at Wendy who was crying and then glanced at Celia with disgust. She then went straight
to Horace. If Horace wanted her to help Wendy and Celia, she would never do that.

"Tell her."

Said Horace, glaring at those talkative women. As a man, he was too embarrassed to say it.

"Lucy, didn't you say that your niece was a loose woman and eloped with Mr. Sharon?"

"Yes. You also said that Celia seduced him just because of his college education background and his
money."

"You also said that Andy helped Wendy in the firewood room just because there we're having an affair.
Is that what you said to us?"

The women were outraged, because these rumors were going to screw them up.

"You said it yourself. Why did you drag me in?"

At this time, Lucy tried to deny it.

"Yes, why did you put the blame on my wife? Besides, they had some self-respect, such rumors would
not spread widely."



Sue said. Lucy is her eldest daughter-in-law, and Sue liked her a lot. What's more, Lucy's son was still
studying in school, so she preferred Lucy more.

"You old lady, if you dare to speak ill of my sister and nephew again, I will punch you!"

Zack couldn't bear Sue any more. He had never seen such a mean woman like her. No matter how she
disliked Celia, Celia was her granddaughter.

"Come on, you'd better punch me on the head. You murderer, do you think I'm afraid of you?"

Sue's words sounded like a shrew. She didn't show an ounce of fear.

"You old thing..."

She believed that if Zack hit her, this old witch would do anything to hurt her.

"Sue, how could you say such words? Celia is your granddaughter. How could you tarnish the
reputation of your granddaughter?"

Horace was annoyed by Sue as he witnessed how she humiliated her own granddaughter.

"Mr. Horace, don't be fooled by them. I lost my son because of the two of them. And they keep
seducing other men. They are not part of our family anymore."

Sue's words were full of malice. She was even disgusted with Wendy and Celia.

"Grandma, you just lost a son, my mother lost a husband, and I lost a father. If you thought about it, we
would be more miserable. We had already left the Tang family. Why did you destroy our reputation and
drive us away?"



Celia finally broke out.

"Your mother ruined my son. I don't have a granddaughter like you. And Wade's tuition fee is five
hundred dollars. Hand it over to me quickly."

After all, since Wendy left the Tang family, she didn't have do all those dirty works. Wendy and Celia
should give them 500 dollars as Wade's intuition fee before leaving the Tang family.

"Don't even think about it! Why should my mother pay the tuition for Wade? If you are capable of it, let
the child go to school. If not, told him to get his hands dirty and do some real works at home."

Even if they had agreed to help them at the beginning, they didn't owe the Tang family anything.
Moreover, she and her mother led a harder life then the people of the Tang family.

"Mr. Horace, please help us! She regretted! She said she paid for Wade's tuition fee!"

Sue was unwilling to let her go. She had been promised she would pay for it, and she heard that Celia
was selling eggs now, so she must make a lot of money.

"Sue, they are also your grandchildren. What are you so mean to Celia? How did they get the five
hundred for you? You are trying to kill them. Why should she pay for Wade's tuition? Where is Wade's
parents and other relatives of the Tang family?"

than me in any way."

Sue yelled.

"Mr. Horace, I never thought that there would be such an ignorant woman in your village. No wonder
that your village is ranked first among the poor villages."

Looking at what the Tang family had done and what they had said, Sharon said bitterly. It was not until
then that he knew Celia had grown up in such a family. She was lucky to have a chance to survive.
What's more, she had a righteous view of life and worked so hard to earn a living. Sharon admired her
more.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Sharon. Most villagers in our village are honest and kind. You can rest assured that I will
handle this matter well."



He didn't expect that Sue would act like this in public.

"Mr. Horace, such a cruel and mean woman is supposed to be driven out of our village."

"Yes, drive them out of the D Village."
