Lin Qiao was quietly listening to their conversation. The day the apocalypse came, she was lying on her bed, having a fever. Next morning, she woke up to find the air pressure strangely high. After being shot, that man stopped moving and lay on the ground. The soldier who was attacked by him became motionless as well.
Before long, disordered gunshots, alarms, screams, and yells were heard from the entire dormitory area.
Lin Qiao instantly forgot about her fever. She leaned against the window and carefully observed those shambling people. They were all moving very slowly with homolateral steps. She recognized that face, but at that very moment, it seemed so strange to her.
