The highest floor of the Inner Court──
They looked at the royal castle from the window of the observation room.
It was burning.
Bright red flames rose from the royal castle Grandios, and deep black smoke spread out.
Putting both of her hands on the window, Alicia intently stared at it.
「Ah……Ahh……」
No matter what happened in the past, she was currently a State Knight. A position to protect the country. She surely must have received a shock.
Various things had happened and Alicia had attempted to revive the Demon King with the desire for mankind's downfall in the past, but right now, she turned over a new leaf……

Diablo stood next to her.
「Alicia, get yourself togeth……Ugh!?」
Her expression was one of ecstasy, with her eyes shining, and the corners of her lips looking charmed and melting to the point that it looked like drool would leak out.

He didn't want to participate in the war, but if he narrowed down the places to protect, he could move to a certain extent.
Toria nodded.
「Lumachina-sama, please return to the inner room. There has been information that the enemy army also has types that can fly. This place is dangerous.」

──With Magimatic Sols as the opponent, that might be a drop in a bucket though.
Diablo tightly grasped his Magic Staff.
「I will go too.」
Lumachina put both of her hands together in front of her chest.
「Thank you very much, Diablo-sama……I beg you, please save us.」
「Don't make me say it so many times. I am merely kicking about the fools who come to attack my base. It is not in order to save you all.」
They were words to hide his embarrassment, but at this late point in time?
Toria lowered her head.
「You have my gratitude. The Church soldiers are in a battle formation to defend the Twelfth District. Diablo-sama, please be a mobile attacking unit.」
Judge the war situation on your own, and protect the places that look like they will collapse──that is probably what she was saying.
「Very well.」
Sylvie was close to the wall and waved her hand.
「We're depending on you♪」
「I leave this place to you, got it?」
「Of course.」
He had no intention of letting it turn into that kind of situation but……
If push truly comes to shove, even just Lumachina and Shera need to escape. Those two carried the responsibility for the Church and the Greenwood Kingdom.
A powerful person that Diablo could place his trust in after himself, was Sylvie.
If it's just in offensive power, Shera had grown plenty, and Rem was quite something if she relied on a questionable power but……
This time, it was a war.
People of the Races were the opponent.
And it wasn't like the enemy would definitely be villains.
──The truth is I don't want to fight, and I don't want anyone to fight.
He tightly clenched his hands.
"Diablo!" His name was called.
It was Shera.
「Definitely……come back……definitely, definitely, definitely, definitely, definitely come back!」
She was moved to tears.
Diablo curved the corners of his lips.

It was a Demon King roleplay done with all of his might.
