Chapter 53

Brandon thought, am I dirty? No one dares to say that to me, but she despises me for being dirty.
Brandon felt extremely upset. He gritted his teeth and asked, “Savanna, why do you think that I am
dirty?”
Savanna looked at Brandon coldly.
Brandon couldn’t stand her strange gaze. It was as if a knife had fiercely stabbed into his chest, causing
him so much pain.

Brandon did not want Winnie to disturb them. He hoped Savanna would understand him. So, he tried to

Savanna nodded.
The smile on her lips was still cold.
“Is there anything else to say?”
Brandon didn’t know what else he could say as he looked at Savanna. His fists were tightly clenched,

“I hope that you can coexist peacefully with her. As long as Winnie gives birth to a child, I will send her
away.”
Brandon promised Savanna.

you.”

“Send some food to Savanna.”
“Sure.”
Mary sent the food into the master bedroom and retreated out.
Brandon and Winnie were eating quietly at the dining table. Winnie finished the soup and ate some food.
Brandon had finished eating, and he reached out for a tissue to wipe his mouth elegantly. Seeing that
Brandon was about to get up and go upstairs, Winnie quickly said, “Brandon, I will have a prenatal
examination tomorrow. Do you have time to go with me?”
Brandon was a little impatient. “Let Reece go with you.”
Since the dangerous incident happened last night, Reece was the bodyguard that Brandon specially
hired for Savanna.
After hearing Brandon’s words, Winnie suddenly felt dejected. Her voice was choked with sobs.
“If Reece goes with me, those people will make up stories about us. After all, everyone thinks I am your
true love.”
Winnie said the word ‘true love’ with a straight face.

Brandon felt guilty when he heard this, and his cold eyes gradually turned warm.
“Well, I will go with you tomorrow.”
Hearing that Brandon agreed to go to the hospital with her for a prenatal examination, Winnie was

her. He asked gently, “Don’t you like the food?”
Savanna sat there without moving as if he was invisible.
“Not feeling well?”
Brandon rolled up his sleeves, revealing his white elbow bone. He reached out to take Savanna’s
temperature. Before he touched Savanna, she had already turned away.
A cool air slid past Brandon’s fingertips.
He restrained his anger in his heart, and a rare gentleness appeared on his face. “Don’t let my son
starve.”
Brandon brought the food over, picked up a piece of broccoli with his fork, and brought it to Savanna.
Savanna lowered her head and flipped over the book “Impromptu Speech” with her slender hand.
Savanna didn’t answer him. Brandon tried his best to control his temper. He asked Mary to take the food
away and heat it up for Savanna when she was hungry.
Mary came up to take the food and was about to go downstairs, but she was stopped by Savanna.
Savanna said, “Mary, throw food away!”
Mary looked at Brandon and Savanna. Finally, she responded and hurried downstairs.
“I know you are unhappy, but I have no choice. Savanna, don’t make a fuss.”
Brandon said weakly, and his words even showed a hint of begging.



“I’ll say it again. I’m not throwing a tantrum. I’m just not hungry, so I don’t want to eat.”
Savanna took her clothes into the bathroom to take a shower.

Brandon reluctantly walked to the balcony to smoke.
Savanna came out after taking a bath. The fragrance of the bath spread over the whole room
immediately. The door was knocked, and she frowned to open it.
It was Lizeth Conner, the maid who took care of Winnje.
Seeing Savanna, Lizeth anxiously glanced at her back. She seemed to be looking for Brandon.
“Ms. Thompson, is Mr. Cassel here?”
Lizeth asked anxiously.
Savanna pointed to the balcony connected to the master bedroom and said, “He is there.”
Lizeth did not care much and directly bypassed Savanna. She walked into the master bedroom. Seeing
that Brandon was smoking on the balcony, Lizeth quickly walked over and reached out to open the door

pregnant with the child of Mr. Cassel?”
