The two of them had their breakfast quietly, fully practicing the decent habit of not talking when eating.
After they had finished their breakfast and Veronica had put down her spoon, Mathew said, “The breakf
ast cost 300 per set, so it will be 600 in total for today and yesterday‘s breakfast. Consider the milk as a
free gift. Remember to pay them to me together with the clothes.”
His words made Veronica choke on her food. “Six hundred? Is the food embedded with gold? Why is it
so expensive?”
“I‘ve spared you the delivery fee considering the fact that you are my godsister,” Matthew added with a
straight face.
She disdained his actions inwardly. “You did this on purpose because I collected money from you after
buying you breakfast.”
