cupped her cheek. “Roni, are you afraid?”

They were both clearly aware of the potential dangers they would encounter during the wedding today.
Veronica shook her head. “What is there to be afraid of? I’ve got you by my side, so there is nothing to
be worried about. But then… Would the guests we invited today be in danger?”
