despite a long wait. “Santiago, how dare you fool me? It’s too late even if you agree to hand us your
daughter now. I’m going to destroy the entire Violet Cloud Palace!” Brad exclaimed angrily, feeling
deceived.
On the other hand, Santiago was no longer afraid of Brad, as Jared had promised to protect them.
Snorting, he responded, “Brad, do you think you have the ability to destroy Violet Cloud Palace? Dream
on!”
Brad was taken aback, and his expression turned into a frown. “Seems like you’ve found someone to
support you. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have dared speak to me like this. But let me make one thing clear:
no matter who comes to your aid, you won’t leave here alive unless you submit to the Evil Heart Sect. No
one can save you!” “Really? Can I save him, then?”
Right then, Jared strode out, holding Hailey’s hand. Hailey’s cheeks were flushed red, and she looked

toward Hailey. “Hailey, we’ve been childhood sweethearts. You know how deeply I love you. If you agree
to marry me, I’ll do everything in my power to convince my father to spare Violet Cloud Palace. I don’t get
it. How is Jared better than me?” he hollered, on the verge of losing his sanity.
“Claus, just give up. I belong to Jared now,” Hailey responded as she gave Jared a shy look. It was clear
that Jared had won her heart last night. Claus was struck with disbelief.
“No, that’s impossible. You must be lying to me. You’re not a loose woman. For years, you didn’t even let
me hold your hand. You’re an innocent girl, aren’t you?” he demanded incredulously. refusing to believe
that Hailey had slept with Jared.
“Wake up, Claus. I didn’t let you hold my hand because I never liked you. I’m willing to sacrifice
everything for the man I love!” Hailey’s answer successfully provoked Claus.
“Ah!” Claus roared like a madman. “Jared, I will kill you and tear you to pieces!”With that, Claus unleashed his aura completely and charged toward Jared. “Ha!” Jared’s icy snort filled
the air. Without glancing at Claus, he swiftly raised his leg and unleashed a powerful flying kick aimed
directly at Claus.
