him.

Jared clenched his fists after reading the letter. I do not want to hurt Hilda ever. Perhaps, this is the
best way to end the matter. If she had stayed on which meant we would continue to see each other
daily, it might be difficult for her.

are better…”

Gary remained silent while Hannah responded, “Josephine, we will do what you tell us to do. From now
on, my husband and I will listen to you and not others…”

Hannah was still feeling terrible about believing the gossip she had heard from others and mistaking
