Chapter 12: Jian Qi is just a Third Rate Actor

“Chu Yuhan, open the damned door!” The people outside continued bashing on the door, and the hinges seemed to be getting looser as they did.
“Who are you guys?” Chu Yuhan asked in fear.
“Open up!” The door was eventually busted opened, and a group of people rushed in.
As her housemates screeched, Chu Yuhan had already rushed to her room and locked the door.
A few violent-looking men immediately made their way over and kicked open the door, catching Chu Yuhan right in the middle of escaping through the window. They immediately grabbed her by her hair and pulled her back.
Chu Yuhan wailed in pain.
The man that held her hair slapped her in her face. “Shut the f*ck up!”
Chu Yuhan was so scared that she didn’t dare wail anymore, the marks on her face violent red and starting to swell. “Who are you people? What do you want from me?”
The man looked at her mockingly and pushed her toward two subordinate standing by him without replying to her question. “Take her away!”
“Who are you people? Who are you to do this to me?!” Chu Yuhan screamed, only to be rewarded with another slap on her face.
The two housemates hid in a corner, not even daring to help.
When Chu Yuhan was thrown down from the van they transported her in and saw the familiar villa, she was stunned.
She subconsciously wanted to flee, but she was caught again and forcefully dragged into the villa.
“Let me go…” Chu Yuhan struggled in fear, but she was thrown haphazardly onto the ground.
“President Zhang, she’s here.”
The middle-aged man that was sitting on the sofa was exactly the man that Jian Qi had beat up several times and had been shot multiple times.
Chu Yuhan noticed that the gauze and bandage wrappings around the middle-aged man seemed to have multiplied since the last time she saw him.
“President Zhang, did something happen…?” Chu Yuhan asked carefully.
President Zhang only glared coldly at her and commanded, “Beat her to death!”
As soon as he said so, the group of grunts surrounded Chu Yuhan and beat her up with no mercy, and Chu Yuhan could only scream and wail in pain. After the punches and kicks stopped, there wasn’t a spot on her left unscathed.
President Zhang shouted, “Chu Yuhan, how dare you toy with me?”
“President Zhang, I don’t understand what you mean…” Chu Yuhan looked up at the middle-aged man, her expression pitiful and her figure frail.
President Zhang wanted to kick her, but his legs were so weak he couldn’t!
Thinking of this, his grudge toward her grew even stronger.
“The f*ck do you mean you don’t know? Don’t you know where all these wounds came from?”
Thinking back to how he was beaten up thoroughly, his expression became even more vicious. “You said that Jian Qi was just a weak girl, why didn’t you tell me she had a black belt in taekwondo?”
Chu Yuhan stared at the man in disbelief. “President Zhang, I don’t understand what you mean? Jian Qi is just a third rate actor with no special skills! Aren’t you mistaken?”
“Do you f*cking think that I got these wounds from tripping on a sidewalk?” President Zhang roared in fury.
