The mercenary nodded. “Yes, but you have to promise me that you’ll do whatever I ask you to do in the future!”
Jian Qi nodded quickly. “I promise, I promise. As long as I don’t starve.”
The mercenary smiled, but his smile was rather strange.
Then, he handed the gun to her. “Later, you’ll kill whoever I tell you to kill!”
Jian Qi’s hands trembled when she heard what the mercenary said. She was so scared that she couldn’t even hold the gun properly and dropped it on the ground.
When the others saw what Jian Qi did, they started laughing at her.
One of them said to the mercenary beside Jian Qi, “Ah Feng, this person is so timid and useless.”
The mercenary who was mocked looked at Jian Qi coldly. “Pick up the gun!”
Jian Qi swallowed her saliva nervously. Then, she obediently squatted down and picked up the gun from the ground. She held it tightly in her hand again, but she was trembling.
The mercenary named Ah Feng warned her coldly. “If you don’t dare to shoot, I’ll kill you. It’s useless, anyway. It’s a waste of food!”
