Chapter 4: Weirdos Everywhere

It was out of Emma's expectation that he was the president of her company.Then, the president didn’t
recognize her after having sex.

It was too much for him to help the bastard Davies! However, on second thought, maybe President
Wood was afraid that his affair with a female employee would be discovered, so he found such a lame
excuse to dismiss her.

Emma looked at this pair of evil superiors angrily.

She thought that the world was full of awful people.Justin was a bad man, so were Oliver and Davies.

Oliver's attitude was very clear.

All the staffs in the personnel department were sophisticated.

What's more, she was an outstanding graduate, one in a hundred! Her qualification was good enough,
so she didn't need to worry about not finding a job.



Thinking of this, Emma finally raised his spirits and patted her face.

Everything would be fine.

On the next day, she had been looking for a suitable job for the whole morning, but she got nothing.

She had to find a place to had lunch first.

At this time, her cell phone rang again.

It was her sister who called her.

Although Emma was dissatisfied with her sister's decision not to care about the family matter, she
thought that it was not easy after she got married.

There was no estrangement between sisters, so she answered the phone, "Hello? Sister."

"Emma, have you eaten yet?"

"Not yet."

Sarah said, "We're in the Presto Grill Restaurant.Come here, and we have a meal together and talk
about Dad.I didn't call Mom."

Emma hung up the phone, and she felt a little comforted.

to the hotel, Emma found that Kaylee was also in the private room.

Kaylee was the sister of Luke, her brother-in-law.

studies design doesn't come to our house for ten days or even half a month.Can I count on him to help
me?"



When Emma heard the name Justin, she felt a stab of pain in her heart.

Sarah saw that Emma didn't speak, she became more straightforward, "Emma, our parents gave you

should serve the director well.As for our parents, you don't have to worry about them."

ask me to do this!"

She opened the door angrily and saw the Director of Academic Office who was led over by the waiter.

have graduated for two years, haven't you? You are more mature than you were at school."

Emma was stunned for a moment, and then turned around to look at her sister angrily.

Is this the so-called "arranged"? Sarah and Luke immediately came out to welcome him, "It's our honor
to have you here, Director."

With that, Sarah touched Emma with her elbow, "Don't you hurry to greet the director?"

The Director of Academic Office had a hunch when he was invited by Emma's sister.

She treated Kaylee better than herself, even though she was her biological sister.

Her older sister's voice sounded behind her.

Emma turned around and was immediately slapped in the face.

"What...what right do you have to hit me?"



"Why? Do you still regard me as your older sister?"

Sarah said, feeling even more aggrieved than Emma, "Our parents have doted on you since you were
a child.They gave you anything delicious and interesting, but I didn't have anything!"

"Which one of my things don't you have?"

Emma said angrily, "Our parents buy everything for two people.Don't pretend to be poor!"

"Nonsense, because you are beautiful, they obviously dote on you more! Even the old house is for
you."

"The old house is for our parents when they grow old.Why will I want it?And even if they give it to me, I
can't take it!"

Sarah was aggressive, "You've grown up and become strong-willed.You don't listen to me now.I'm just
asking you to serve the director.Who are you showing that chaste look for?"

"Even though you know that he has ulterior motives, you still asked him here.You might as well give me
to him as a gift!"

As she spoke, Emma's eyes were a little moist.

Sarah said, "Do you think finding a wealthy man is as easy as finding a cabbage on the ground? If you
can do it, just do so"

Emma said those words out of anger, but Sarah even wanted to take this nonsense seriously.

Looking at Sarah who had spent so many years together, Emma suddenly felt that she had never
understood Sarah.

Sarah was sure that Emma could not find a wealthy man, so she blocked Sarah's way aggressively
and forced her to go back to see the director.

With tears welling up in her eyes, and Emma suddenly felt her shoulders were tightened and found that
she was pulled into a hug by a person.

Oliver smiled on the top of Emma's head, "What happened to you? Look at you, your tears are falling
down."

Sarah saw a well-dressed and good-looking man hugging Emma suddenly.

She couldn't help opening her eyes wide, "Who are you?"

Oliver held Emma with one hand and wiped tears from her eyes gently with the other hand.

He said in a doting tone, "I'm Oliver Wood.I should be counted as the wealthy man you just said."

Sarah looked at him with her mouth wide open, her face full of incredulity, "...Oliver Wood?"

The seal on the check did show the Wood Enterprise, and Oliver Wood was the new president of Wood
Group to succeed his uncle Thomas Wood.

She had heard about it from Luke, but how could it be so coincidental?
