Qin Ge left very early the next day. Xing Jiuan wanted to send her off, but she did not let her.
"Rest a little longer. Just accompany me more when I'm done with the matters over there."
"Okay." Xing Jiuan pursed her lips and nodded.
Qin Ge smiled and hugged her. "I'm leaving. Go and rest."
"I'll send you downstairs."
"No need. It's quite cold outside now.
"It's not like I'll be gone for long. Don't worry about me. The car has already arrived, I'm leaving."

Xing Jiuan went to the window and watched Qin Ge walk out slowly.
The lights in this neighborhood were not very bright at night. Qin Ge's back was soon hidden in the darkness.

Xing Jiuan drew the curtains and lay on the bed. She was no longer sleepy.
She closed her eyes again and rested for a while.
Not long after breakfast, Su Jiu had to go back.
They sent him to the airport together.
Before getting out of the car, Su Jiu ruffled Xing Jiuan's hair. "When I'm done, I'll dye my hair the same color as yours."
