How Is This a House?
When she returned to the dormitory and saw Jiang Rong’s empty bed, she naturally knew that she was the one who roofied her!
Jian Dan sat on her bed and spaced out for a while before starting to pack her things. After all, life still had to go on!
Just as she was packing up, her cell phone rang… She picked it up and saw that it was an unknown number! She hung up.
Her cell phone rang again. It was the same number as before!
Jian Dan pressed the answer button… “It’s me!”
A husky male voice emanated from the other end of the phone.
“Chu Liyuan?” Jian Dan subconsciously said this name.
“You recognize my voice so quickly?”
On the other end of the line, Chu Liyuan was inexplicably happy.
“Of course! Other than my dear uncle, who else could have such a husky and pleasant voice?” Jian Dan complimented.
Chu Liyuan should have been unhappy when he heard the word “uncle”. But for some reason, it became especially pleasant to his ears when the words “my dear” were added.
“Are you done packing? If you’re done, go downstairs! The person I sent to pick you up is there!”
“Okay!”
Just as Chu Liyuan was about to say something, Li Jing reminded him, “Mr. Chu, the plane is about to take off.”
“Be good and wait for me at home!” Chu Liyuan said and hung up.
Before Jian Dan could react on the other end of the cell phone, she heard a beeping sound.
Be good? Why did it feel like he was talking to a pet?

The fifth floor was a rooftop with a glass house and many professional astronomical telescopes.
From the rooftop, one could not see the end of the garden below…
