They stayed at Fan House for a while after dinner, they asked to leave around dawn, and they walked home, passing through the park.
“Your grandpa loves you so much.” said He Bai, thinking about how grandpa looked at Di Qiuhe when they asked to leave, then he sighed, “try spend more time with him, he’s getting old now, he is after all very lonely even though Uncle Hu keeps him company.”
“Lonely? He abandoned my mom when she was a little girl, ha it occurred to him that mu mom would feel lonely without father’s company?” Di Qiuhe told He Bai his honest opinion straight away, then he made a comprise with himself, he held He Bai’s hands, “Don’t worry, grandpa is just going through a rough patch, unlike those elders who spend all day looking for someone to talk to, he is a very busy man. I promise I’ll spend more time with him, give him more company when we are done with our house and you moved back to campus for exams.”
