He Bai and Yi Jie were discussing the details of the wedding arrangement when his bowl was snatched away by Di Qiuhe.
“Childish Di, what’s that about?” He Bai glared at him.
Di Qiuhe felt the temperature of He Bai’s forehead several times to make sure He Bai was not in a fever any more, then he sat next to He Bai, handed him the meds, “The porridge is cold now, I’ll heat it up later. Here, take your meds.”
He Bai refused the meds with his whole body saying no, he threw his head back and said, “No, I don’t need these any more, I’m all better now.”
Di Qiuhe replied with silence, yet he showed a determined attitude by holding the meds and water for He Bai.
They stared at each other for a solid minute, it ended up in He Bai’s compromise, he took the meds and bit Di Qiuhe’s finger.
“Don’t bite me, I didn’t wash my hands.” Di Qiuhe said gently, “Here, have some water.”
He Bai felt like he was being treated as a kindergarten kid, he gulped down the water, the bitterness of the meds now started to kick in, then a milk fudge was stuffed into his mouth, he enjoyed the sweetness while left another bitten mark on Di Qiuhe’s hand. Then he turned around, trying to make a point to Di Qiuhe that he was sulking.
All of a sudden Di Qiuhe’s arms wrapped around his waist.
“I’m sorry.” Di Qiuhe kissed him on the cheek, he apologized softly with a touch of regret in his tone.
He Bai was not really angry at him in the first place, hearing his tone, He Bai couldn’t pull his poker face any more, he turned back to look at Di Qiuhe, “You know you are wrong, yeah?”
Di Qiuhe nodded as a reply, then he rubbed on He Bai’s cheeks.

He Bai poked his face and continued, “Oh, really? Please tell me what do you think you could do better?”
Di Qiuhe caught hold of He Bai’s hand and said in a serious manner, “To start with, I should not pretend I didn’t hear the doorbell the other day, I should have answered the door and invite Xu Ying in, and secondly I should not ask to get intimate with you twice in a row which makes you catch a fever. And I should not ask grandpa’s GP to ours to check you knowing how shy you are, I shouldn’t baby you too much, nagging you to take meds and stuff, it’s all on me, I’ll be extra careful next time, I hate it you get sick because of me.”
His voice got deeper as he explained, he thought about that afternoon when they had sex two times in a row, He Bai suddenly caught a fever at night because of that, he said firmly, “You know what, in case I get you sick again, let’s not have sex again, I’m so sorry.”
What nonsense was that!
“The heck?” He Bai couldn’t help but flip Qiuhe’s forehead, “Why on earth do you think I’m mad because we had sex and that i caught a fever? It was no big deal, neither of us had experience, and we are learning, that’s no big deal, just don’t over think about that. What I’m mad at is you ask for leave from the crew, look, I’m very grateful you are such a caring partner and trying to be there for me when I’m sick, but look at me now, I’m all better, why are you still home? Rumors travel fast baby, people may assume you are getting big-headed.”
Di Qiuhe was dumbfounded, then he frowned, “How do you know the crew started shooting now? Did you hear it from Assistant Wang? Or Xing Shaofeng?”
“Does it matter?” He Bai pinched Di Qiuhe’s cheek, “Childish Di, it was you who told me your new drama was about to shoot. Don’t blame anyone for this, it was not Assistant Wang nor Xing Shaofeng, I overheard you calling the crew asking for leave.”

He Bai felt he was so doted now, he went even further, “I want none of that, I want hawthorn snacks, now.”
Hearing that, Di Qiuhe took his car key and left his seat.
He Bai was dumbfounded, he didn’t realize Di Qiuhe was actually really going out to get hawthorn snacks for him until he saw Di Qiuhe opened the door, he stopped Di Qiuhe, looking outside of the window, it was snowing! He asked Di Qiuhe to come back.
“Anything else you are craving?” Di Qiuhe walked back and asked him gently.
He Bai flipped him on the forehead.

Awww, looked like Di Qiuhe was really startled by the way He Bai suffered a fever that night, and he was trying everything to make up for that.
He Bai squeezed Di Qiuhe’s face and seated him on the sofa, he wrapped his legs around Di Qiuhe and started to kiss him.
Di Qiuhe did not see that coming, he started to kiss He Bai back after a few seconds.
He Bai started to undress him.
Di Qiuhe tried hard to not give He Bai any more response other than kissing, he just asked, “Don’t feel like hawthorn snacks any more?”
He Bai looked at him in the eye and shook his head, and he went upstairs to the bedroom.
Di Qiuhe was so turned on by He Bai, ahhh, his puppy now was getting so good at this now……
Five minutes later, He Bai went downstairs with a blushed face, seeing Di Qiuhe put his clothes back on, he darted Di Qiuhe a glare, “Sit on the sofa.”
“Why is your face so red? Is it the fever?” asked Di Qiuhe concernedly, he covered He Bai with a blanket, “I’ll call the GP now.”
He Bai stopped him and pulled him on the sofa, he threw himself on Di Qiuhe, overcoming all the shyness, he started to tantalized Di Qiuhe.
The two soon got undressed.
