The building was on the verge of crumbling as Qin Feng gathered the spatial equipment. He quickly leaped and landed on the adjacent building. Soon, the building collapsed and buried Sal Bar’s body with it.
Qin Feng walked toward Niel Bol. He displayed a mocking smirk seeing the grimace on the latter’s face.
“I am glad to help, Master Niel Bol.”
Niel Bol could hardly control his expression now. He attempted a stiff smile and said, “Haha! Haha! Thank you so much, general from the Huaxia Alliance. I expressed my gratitude for your support.”
“Don’t worry. That’s my duty here, to begin with. Since Sal Bar has met his end, I believe his base would not be heavily guarded now. We should ride this momentum and immediately demolish it once and for all.”
Qin Feng talked through his conscious power. Everyone was intrigued by the idea.
“That’s right!”
“I comply. With this general from Huaxia, we have no fear even if there is another A-tier opponent!”
Niel Bol was almost in tears. “That would not be necessary. Greenlit City is a lot safer now with Sal Bar gone. I wouldn’t dare to trouble you all.”
“It’s no trouble. We are all here to provide support and should see this through,” Even Xu Qing began to tease him.
“But… But…” Niel Bol was looking for another excuse. Then, an idea came into his mind.
He claimed, “But I don’t know where his base is.”
“That would not be a problem.”
Qin Feng took out his glider and flew forward hastily.
The shadow of fleeing hovercopters belonging to Sal Bar’s crew could still be seen near the horizon afar. Qin Feng glided through the air speedily and caught up to one of the choppers in no time.
Qin Feng detached himself from the glider and landed on the front mirror of the hovercopter. He broke the mirror easily with his punch and dragged the E-tier pilot out from the cockpit.
Then, he jumped back to his glider and returned to his company with a new hostage in hand.
The hovercopter without its pilot, on the other hand, plummeted and exploded when it hit the ground. The entire process lasted not more than three minutes.
The B-tier gunner peed his pants being glared at by more than ten B-tiers.
“Speak now, where’s your base?”
“Spare my life! I will talk! Our base is hidden inside a cave fifty kilometers from here.”
Qin Feng perforated the gunner’s head without hesitation after he had revealed the exact location of the cave.
“There, we got the coordinates now. Let’s go!”
“Okay!”
“Let’s roll!”
“Everyone, listen to me. This is still very dangerous. What if there’s an S-tier in there?” Niel Bol made his final attempt to stop them.
Qin Feng maintained his smile but his words silenced Niel Bol for good. “Based on the information provided by your alliance, it is claimed that the Dark Organization does not have any A-tier ability users. We wouldn’t be surprised if we find an S-tier there. However, judging by the accuracy of your intel, I am pretty confident that we will not find any threat in the base.”
As Niel Bol had lied once, nobody believed his words now.
The B-tiers from other alliances now strongly believed that this was a conspiracy. Luckily, this conspiracy was ended prematurely thanks to Qin Feng.
With the strongest fighter of the organization killed, the Dark Organization’s base became an unguarded vault waiting to be extracted.
Even if the base was an empty shell, they would still go since Niel Bol insisted that they did not.
At the very least, they could kill a few more people to serve as a warning to the Amazon Alliance.
It was unforgivable for the alliance to trick them.
Members from the other alliances were pumped to vent their anger by killing.
“Go go go!”
“Destroy them!”
They were stirred by Qin Feng and took out their respective hovercopters. Under Qin Feng’s lead, they charged straight at Sal Bar’s base spiritedly.
At the front of the convoy, Xu Qing sat right by Qin Feng and expressed his admiration, “I find it hard to believe how far you have improved in a year and a half.”
When Xu Qing first met Qin Feng, the latter was still only a D-tier ability user. Of course, his combat prowess was already through the roof among his peers at that time.
Still, it was tremendous that he could rival an A-tier now and had even killed the opponent!
“I am lucky, I guess.”
“Luck? No, no, no! Luck will only carry you that far. This is definitely talent.”
Qin Feng smiled back and did not say anything else. To him, it was entirely on luck that he could come this far.
Because without it, he would not have been reborn in the first place.
Everything that happened up to this point stemmed from that vital moment.
Not long later, they had traveled about fifty km and found a large base built on a cliff. The alarm inside the base sounded as they got nearer and nearer to it.
Then, a protective shield ascended covering the entire base. It was a high-level defense.
“The base of a Dark Organization is better equipped than the main city of the Amazon Alliance!” Xu Qing said sarcastically.
Qin Feng nodded and sneered. “The Dark Organization would, of course, prosper when the alliance is in such a feeble state.”
Qin Feng pressed a button and the cannon of his hovercopter promptly extended. It then fired a laser of half-meter diameter straight at the force field.
Blitz!
The force field shield was indeed durable. Nonetheless, the shield had its upper threshold. Once the limit had been surpassed, it would inevitably crumble.
Qin Feng’s energy blaster was naturally incredible. Being the chief of a technology organization, the weapon in his hand would no doubt be the best of the best. It led the current technology by at least ten years ahead.
“Charge!”
Qin Feng alighted the hovercopter and shrouded the entire base.
Instantly, Qin Feng caught the position of the three B-tiers inside the base.
With an A-tier in command, not many B-tiers would be required in a stronghold. The number of B-tiers, including Maul Goh, who was killed earlier, fitted the bill.
One of the B-tiers realized that things were not looking good and quickly set up a spatial waymark.
“Trying to run? Don’t even think about it!”
Qin Feng raised his hand and a giant fireball abruptly appeared in midair. Guided by Qin Feng’s conscious power, the fireball fell like a meteor carrying a long flaming tail.
Boom!
The giant fireball landed on a decent villa and immediately turned it into a ruin. The aptitude user inside was not badly injured but the spatial waymark was disrupted by the fire runes and collapsed after several nudges.
The B-tier’s face, which was covered in dust, showed that he was deeply traumatized.
