Chapter 733: The Third Attempt Should be the Last

The ray of light was striking swiftly from above; and this time, Qin Feng had no way to defend against it.
He had used up all of his conscious energy earlier—all of his dark rune reserves were all used up. If given enough time, he could recover the runes. However, at this moment, he could not recover quick enough to take on this light attack.
Bai Li’s face was as pale as a sheet too. She did not expect that the light attack earlier would be so powerful. The overwhelming attack reminded her of Z.
The attack was an attack from an S-tier.
“Perhaps I could block it with my internal energy.”
Qin Feng clenched the Verdant Emperor Saber firmly in his hand, preparing to burst out his internal energy.
Even if he could defend against this attack, Qin Feng knew that this villa that Bai Li loved so much would be leveled to the ground.
It was then everyone could hear a loud roar—one that was like the roar of a dragon! Then, they could see a beam of black light shining from afar; seconds later, the black light morphed into a terrifying black dragon.
Upon seeing this, Qin Feng’s face turned grim. He had seen this dragon before—it was Z’s spirit. Not only that, this black dragon came from Cinderclast City.
So, Z had not left the city yet?
Or maybe he was still doing experiments in his turf again?
Yet, right now Qin Feng could not care about these anymore as the black dragon rose to the sky and swallowed the bright light that was darting at Fengli City.
Then, the dragon flew up straight into the clouds. When it was in the clouds, Qin Feng could sense that Z’s spirit had swallowed something mid-air. Then, he seemed to have heard something that was crushed, like a bottle of glass being smashed against a wall. After that, he could not sense Z’s presence anymore.
However, that lingering, eerie feeling that he was being watched was also gone!
Realizing this, Qin Feng felt a tremendous weight off his shoulders. When he was finally relaxed, Qin Feng could feel that his entire body was burning with pain.
“Devil’s Eye. They’re quite good!”
Qin Feng did not expect Z would come to his rescue though.
“Perhaps the man was indeed pulling punches when we butted heads the last time!” Qin Feng shook his head and smiled bitterly to himself. When he fought Z, he had lost two god items in one go! If it was not because of these trump cards, Qin Feng would be a goner the moment Z lifted his finger.
“Yay, the crisis is over!” Bai Li looked at Qin Feng. “So, who’s this baddie that was attacking you? I saw a big creepy eyeball in the sky. Ew!”
“It was the Devil’s Eye’s and Amazon Alliance’s S-tier ability user.” Qin Feng said, “I thought he was still staying in a different dimension. I didn’t think he was already back. I suppose I’ve indeed pissed them off real good this time, seeing that they asked him to take me down.”
Qin Feng then beamed up a cold smirk. Indeed, the Amazon Alliance had good reasons to hate him because he had killed and plundered them so much.
“Thank goodness Z was here… but…”
Qin Feng frowned when he thought about Z.
If there was one person’s favor that he did not want to owe, it would be Z’s. Moreover, Z was still at Cinderclast City. This very fact too was troubling him.

The huge eyeball that was looking at Fengli City was completely swallowed by the black dragon. Eye Devil’s darkened eyes suddenly turned even dimmer than before.
On the surface, it looked like Eye Devil was merely frowning. However, he was already wounded from that dragon’s fierce munch.
Eye Devil felt a subtle wariness when he saw that some other powerful champion had shown up to defeat his eyeball. He thought that the Huaxia Alliance would not care if they lost just one mere general.
Still, as the saying goes, “The third attempt should be the last”. He had tried to kill Qin Feng three times and he failed all three times. Eye Devil could not help but to admit that this young man was indeed someone unusually capable.
Thus, Eye Devil had lost interest in taking care of this matter anymore and contacted the person who sought his help. “I’m heading back. Leave that boy be. Don’t call me again for trivial matters.”
“Yes, Sir! Understood, Sir!”
The man wiped off the cold sweat that was rolling down on his forehead while trying to ponder what Eye Devil meant.
“He said ‘Leave the boy be’… what does this mean? Does this mean that even the Mr S-tier could not kill this Qin Feng from Huaxia?”
The man jumped after thinking this. Thus, he quickly held an emergency meeting with the other board members in the Amazon Alliance.
Eye Devil did not bother to give Amazon Alliance an explanation. As such, they did not know that Qin Feng had already gone back to Huaxia Alliance. Besides, even if he had gone back to Huaxia; so what? If he wanted to get revenge, he could always use his spatial waymark to come back.
As such, they realized that things had gotten severe.
“No, we can’t allow Huaxia’s Qin Feng to live. He’s too powerful and dangerous to be left alive. If he’s allowed to live, he will keep on killing until we are all dead.”
“Resources! We can’t have our resources be plundered like this. He keeps taking everything wherever he goes! I don’t know how he even takes all of them like this!”
“What do we do now?”
“Or… maybe we could plead to have him removed? Let’s stop trying to kill him. There’s no way we could harm him. Even the A-tiers can’t take him on! And even the S-tier doesn’t want to put a finger on him…”
“But how do we have him removed?”
After a long brainstorming session, some of them finally had some ideas. Thus, they drafted a complaint letter to the regent of Huaxia’s Northern region.

At Fengli City, the citizens had now gone back to their day-to-day life, completely forgotten about the crisis.
To them, so long as their governor was still with them, they would be safe.
They did not know just how dangerous the situation was earlier. All they knew was Qin Feng had used his abilities to stop a crisis. As for the “black dragon”, they thought it was a secret weapon from the Floating City.
Meanwhile, Qin Feng received a call from Shang Han.
“Qin Feng! What the hell were you doing at the Amazon? They said you have slain the citizens of a whole city! They want you to leave the Amazon Alliance!”
Upon hearing this, Qin Feng was stunned. However, after a quick thought, a smirk beamed up on his face.
“But I was helping them! Sigh. I didn’t think they would be so displeased with this.”
“Help? You were helping? What’s going on here?”
Shang Han had a lot of official matters to handle in her office. As such, she was not caught up with what was happening in the Amazon. Besides, Xu Qing had reported back and said the support mission was already completed on the first day. She even praised Qin Feng’s capability back then.
However, she did not think that Qin Feng would stay in the Amazon and then cause such a ruckus.
Qin Feng then told everything to Shang Han; but he did not tell her about Eye Devil’s attack. He only explained that he sensed that there was a strong presence helping the Dark Coalition there, keeping intel about Z from her.
After listening to what he had to say, Shang Han was completely speechless.
After a few seconds later, she finally opened her mouth, “So, you’re saying that… you’ve killed nine A-tiers from the Amazon Alliance. And then killed hundreds of their B-tiers and then thousands of their C-tiers??”
Qin Feng let out a dry cough before correcting her, “It’s the Amazon’s Dark Coalition.”
