again to light the screen so that Carl could see the time on it.

Carl took a closer look and noticed that it was almost 6 in the evening.

"Oh God!" Carl opened his eyes wide and shouted, "Have I slept for so long?"



Jessica wasn't in a hurry to order the takeout. She wasn't starving, and Carl also seemed too bouncy to
be hungry.

She put her phone aside, crossed her arms, and said with a poker face, "Carl, can you stop drinking a
lot with people all the time? Are you trying to kill others or yourself?"

Until now, Carl realized that Jessica was very serious, so he could not help but sit up straight.

"Well ... drinking Jayvion under the table is at least better than beating him up..."Carl didn't think he was
wrong, but Jessica looked unhappy, so his voice got lower.

Jessica sighed and gave up arguing with him.

'Let it go. Drinking a little isn't a big deal.'

She got up, took something from her bag, and handed it to Carl.

Carl looked down and found that it was a medical report. He looked at Jessica questioningly.

"It’s yours. This morning, Kalyan couldn't find you, so he called me and gave me this," Jessica
explained.

He was no longer an energetic teenager.

Carl looked through the medical records and coughed softly. He explained, "I was in a bad state back

Jessica replied firmly, "Yes."
