Nellie and raised them as your own?“

Luna raised her glass and harshly gulped down a mouthful of warm water, then shifted her eyes to
Joshua. “You can say that.“

Joshua raised his glass as well. “Why didn’t you have any children when you were with your ex-
husband?“

“He doesn’t deserve to have children.“ Placing her glass down, Luna lifted her cutlery and continued
eating. “He had an affair when I needed him the most, and even wanted to kill me to please his side
