Joshua rubbed his brows in frustration and leaned against the sofa, exhausted. He decided to wait for
Fiona to come out of the shower.

After a short while, Fiona emerged with a towel wrapped around her dripping body.

She immediately made her way to Joshua with a coy expression and gently pressed her soft, silky skin
against Joshua’s arm. “Joshua, did my phone ring just now?“

“Yes. “ Joshua closed his eyes and did not even give her a second glance. “It was Christian.“

“Didn’t he go back to his hometown already?“ Fiona smiled and extended her hand to touch Joshua’s
face, but Joshua stopped her before she could do so.

He held her wrist in his hand and pinned her between the sofa and his own body.

against Joshua’s chest, feigning shyness, and said coyly, “Joshua… Don’t… We’re in the living room,
