“Mo’er, this Windchasing Sunslayer Spear is Elder Wutian’s most prized possession,” Xuan Ji said. “I tried to borrow it from him a few days ago and he refused. Now he’s offering it to you. Thank him!”
“Thank you, Elder Wutian,” Ye Mo said as he cupped his fists in greeting. He still lacked a Spirit Weapon of his own. This Windchasing Sunslayer Spear might prove helpful in closing the strength gap between him and his opponent.

“Perhaps the princess has taken a liking to me after seeing my performance today?” Ye Mo thought to himself.
“Yes, the princess has summoned you.” The old man started walking away without checking to see if Ye Mo was following. “Come. You’ll understand when you get there.”
Ye Mo didn’t think too much and followed along.
Along the way, the old man remained silent and Ye Mo didn’t ask any questions. The old man said he would understand everything when he got there.
The old man brought Ye Mo to a hall, the place where Qingyun League usually arranged for their important guests to stay.
“We’ve arrived. Go in yourself,” the old man said before leaving.
Ye Mo walked into the dark hall.
The corridor was long, with a glowing pearl on the ceiling. At the end of the corridor was a gorgeous pavilion, and in the pavilion, there were three people. Of the three, two appeared to be maidservants, while the one in the middle was seated on a golden phoenix chair.
The one in the chair was dressed in a golden gown and had a golden crown on her head. Her gown had markings of a soaring phoenix. The phoenix was bright golden, a noble intelligence in its eyes.
The woman had a pair of watery eyes, a straight nose, and a pretty face.
