CHAPTER 42

CHAPTER 42THIRD PERSON'S POV:-
Zeus closed the door of the closet and went back towards the bed. He sat on the edge of the bed and
leaned in. He pulled a box out from under his bed and pulled it upon his bed. He opened the box and
emptied it on his bed. It was filled with all her belongings.
All the gifts she had bought for him. The letters she had sent for him. The flowers she had sent for him.
He could not help but feel as if someone squeezed his heart as he looked at everything. A tear
escaped his eye as he grabbed the cutest little teddy bear she had gifted him.
She gifted that teddy to him on his birthday. She sewed it with her own hands. It took her two days to
make him that teddy bear. She gave up her meals and good night sleep just to make a perfect teddy
bear for him. She chose his favorite colors. Brown and black. Without any care, she made him that
teddy.
Once it was ready, she packed it into a box and wrapped it in a black paper. Then she decorated it with
golden ribbons. The ribbons were the exact same color as the eyes of the Zeus wolf, Zaric.
She went to Zeus and gave him the box. The smile on her face was so generous. But Zeus, how could
he not behave like a total jerk to her. He did not unwrap the paper or ribbons, he tore them apart. Then
he opened the box. He pulled out the teddy bear out of the box.
Seeing a cute little teddy bear into his hands, his friend, Harry came to him and started laughing. He
snatched the teddy bear from Zeus.
Harry: Aww! I did not know that you still play with teddies, Zeus. Or I would have brought you a teddy
bear. A bigger one, not a tiny cockroach like this one.Harry said and Dabria balled her fists in anger. Zeus snatched the teddy bear away from Harry then put
it back into the box it was packed in. He grabbed Dabria by her arm and pulled her towards his
bedroom. He pushed her inside his bedroom and locked the door. He came to her and she shivered
seeing him so angry.
Zeus: Did you come here to humiliate me? That was your plan, right. Because even a fool would know
that I am not a baby who would play with dolls or teddy bears. You brought me this stupid teddy so you
can humiliate me in front of my friends.
He yelled at her angrily. But she did not move a muscle. She stood there like a statue. She did not want
to make him feel disrespected.
Dabria: No, I did not. You know, I would never do anything to make you feel humiliated in front of your
friends. I just wanted you to cheer up after your loss.
She replied with a small smile on her beautiful face. She tried to hold his hand and he pushed her
backwards. She fell on the floor. He pulled the teddy bear out of the box and glared at it. Then he threw
it on her face and left.
She broke into tears as she grabbed the teddy bear. She brought it to her nose and inhaled it's scent. It
smelled like Zeus. With teary eyes, a small smile made its way to her pink lips.
Dabria: He did not like you. He did not like you at all. But you smell like him. He did not let me touch
him. I don't know why he hates me this much. I swear, I did not do anything. I swear I try to make him
smile every day. It's just… maybe I am ugly. That's why he won't even look at me.
She complained to the teddy she had made for him. He did not even look at it. She had worked so hard
to make it perfect for him. Crying crazily, she opened the drawer of his bedside table and pulled out a
pen and paper. She sat the teddy bear on the bedside table and wiped her tears.Dabria: I am so sorry, Zeus. I swear, I did not know you would feel humiliated with this teddy. Or I would
never have made it for you. I just wanted to cheer you up. I don't know but every time I try to do
something to make you look at me once, it all falls into my feet. I mess up everything. I just can't help it.
I love you so much. I just want to see you happy. I did not think once and make this stupid teddy bear
for you. But your gift is due. I will buy you something you like. I tried to ask you but you never tell me
anything. I'm so sorry. I will apologise to all your friends as well. Just please don't be mad at me. You
know it kills me when you are mad at me.
novelbinDabria wrote into the letter and grabbed the teddy. She opened the door and stepped out. She made
sure no one would notice her. She knew her eyes would be puffy because she was crying. And she did
not want Mr and Mrs Kart to be mad at Zeus because of her. She stepped out of the mansion and went
towards the dumpster.
Moon: Did he make you cry again, Dabria?
Moon asked her and she looked at him. She forced a small smile on her face and sat down on the
bench near.
Dabria: No, he did not. I just did something and he got angry. Promise me, you will not tell that to ma
and pa
She asked Moon and he just nodded his head. She smiled and pecked little Moon's cheek. Moon was
like a younger brother to her. As she did not have any siblings.
Dabria: Thank you, Moon.
She thanked him and he cutely nodded his head. He then grabbed the teddy bear she had in her
hands.
Moon: Did you buy him a teddy bear?He asked her while looking at the teddy, dreamy eyes.
Dabria: No, I made it for him. But he did not like it. So I am going to buy him something. It's ugly, that's
why Zeus did not like it. Now I don't like it either.
She replied and her tears again betrayed her. Moon wiped her tears with his hands. He then took the
teddy from her and hugged it tightly.
Moon: If you don't mind, can I keep it. I like it very much and I don't have any homemade teddy bears.
He asked her and a sob escaped her lips. She nodded her head because she knew her voice and her
words would betray her. She opened her arms for him and he hugged her. She looked at the sky with
teary eyes.
Dabria: I just don't know how to make him happy. Everything I do, seems to anger him more than the
last time. I can die to see him smiling. I can die a thousand deaths just to spend one day as his mate.
But I know, he will never accept me. I am ugly and he hates me. I don't know why I love him.
She said all that while hugging Moon. Moon rubbed her back with his hands. He did not know how to
console her. His brother was always jerky to her. She broke the hug and stood up.
Dabria: You can keep it if you like it. But please, don't show it to Zeus. He would not like to see it.
She pleaded to little Moon and he just nodded his head. She wiped her tears again and went away.
Moon hid the bear inside his shirt and went towards the mansion. He noticed someone standing by the
wall. He had tears in his eyes. It was the same man who had called Dabria's teddy a cockroach.
Moon: She is already suffering a lot just to make my brother realize how much she loves him. My
brother is blind, will you be blind either after seeing her love. You called it a cockroach while you don't
even know that she made it with her own hands. Don't make it even harder for her.He said and went away while Harry stood there. He was feeling guilty for saying everything without
realizing how it would hurt Dabria.
