strode toward the bedroom. As soon as he stepped in, he heard the sound of water splashing and it
was coming from the bathroom. Ashlyn stood under the showerhead with the water gushing out as she
attempted to extinguish the turbulent torment within her body with cold water.

“Honey, what are you doing?”
“Taking a shower.” Ashlyn spoke irritably.
