Chapter 21: 21) Sick!

Florina waited for the loud gunshots but none came, instead she noticed that the crowd has completely
went silent and now she could only hear loud clicking of heels against the shiny floor. Slowly opening
her eyes she looked in front of her, Sebastian and Vincenzo were still holding guns at each other.

Florina looked at the woman who was the source of the silence. She was wearing formal clothes, a
grey pencil skirt with a white shirt. She had long black hair and same eyes like vincenzo, she was
looking like a boss lady. She was around 48 years old but she was more young looking and beautiful as
per her age.

Her angry amber eyes met florina's confused green one and Florina understood that she didn't liked
her at all. Whoever the lady was, seems to be an important person.

That lady eyed Matteo and Matteo nodded at her like they were communicating with eyes.

Matteo went towards florina and grabbed her arm which caught her off-guard.

"Excuse me..."

She narrowed her eyes at him.

Matteo kept his face straight.

"You need to leave..."

With that he dragged her away from their.

Florina passed by the lady and she gave her a very dirty glare while florina just frowned at her. One last
time she turned around and looked at them, that lady was now holding vincenzo's gun and trying to



calm him down.

Maria was trying to do the same with Sebastian and what surprised Florina the most was they were
listening to them.

As soon as Florina went out her vision got blocked by bright flashlights. Every reporter present there
were clicking her pictures and asking questions.

'Ma'am... Can you please tell us what's your relation with them?...'

'Are they fighting over you?...'

'Were you dating both of them?...'

'Can you explain what's happening inside?...'

'How did you meet them?...'

Florina was bombarded with thousands of questions. She was stuck between the reporter who were
now pushing her here and there. Matteo called more guards and they cleared the path for her. Matteo
safely lead her towards the car and ordered the driver to drop her home.

Florina reached home and sitting on the bed she grabbed her head.

'What do I do now?... I am in a serious problem... They were just one night stands for God's sake. They
are handsome but I can't date any of them, they are fucking mafia's... And they just claimed me, I am
dead now...'

She whined frustratingly.

'They won't come for me, will they?... I have clearly said that I don't want any one of them and they
haven't killed each other. Maybe they will forget about it, who am I anyways. A normal stupid girl...'



She huffed.

'A stupid girl who likes to fuck up her life...'

'Who was that lady?...'

She wondered remembering her angry glare.

Waking up she took a bath thinking she will feel good but it didn't work, she haven't slept all night and
her head was hurting. Getting in the kitchen she decided to eat something but ended up drinking coffee
only due to loss of appetite.

Florina head towards her workplace, she was sure that she is getting fired today. As soon as she
entered the office everyone looked at her with weird looks.

Cherry hurriedly walked towards her and lead her to his cabin.

"What the hell was that florina?..."

Florina had no idea how to make him understand so she just gave him a bit of information which will
satisfy his questions and she had to add some lies too.

"Damn girl... I told you to get some news, I didn't told you to become one..."

He cursed.

"Am I on the news?"

She gasped in shock.



"Luckily you are not... Last night everyone was ready to make you a spicy gossip topic, trust me you
would have been doomed but__"

He looked at her over-dramatically.

"It's a clear order from both of the mafias that if this news got out then there will be very bad
consequences... They handled everything..."

"Thank god..."

Florina sighed in relief.

'Did they do it for me?... No, they must be worried about their reputation. Why would they care about
me, yesterday they were ready to hurt me for my so called cheating, which I never did...'

Cherry snapped his fingers in front of her to bring her out of her daze.

"Back to earth... You have another problem to deal with, boss wants to meet you..."

"I am fired... Ain't I?..."

She said defeated.

Cherry looked at her in pity.

"Maybe... I am sorry, this time I can't do anything..."

Florina nodded at him in understanding and went to her boss's office.

"Good morning sir..."

"Florina..."



"I am really sorry for what happened last night..."

She quickly apologized.

"I understand florina. It's your personal life and I can't question you about it but the thing is your
personal life might be a problem for my business. We are responsible citizens, at least I am..."

Florina couldn't find any humor in his words which he was trying to show with his flashing teeth. She
knew what he meant.

"I can't keep someone as my employee who has relations with mafias. Not one but two and plus they
are the biggest enemies to each other. I can't risk my company and my life for you, I hope you
understand."

Florina gave him a fake smile.

"I understand sir..."

"What exactly did you do to trap both of them... I knew you were not as innocent as you looked...
Bravo!..."

He chuckled looking up and down.

Florina glared at his degrading words.

"Mind your words... You are not my boss anymore and I won't hesitate to break your fucking teeth,
rascal..."

Leaving him dumbfounded she exited the office.

When she came outside everyone was looking at her mockingly and whispering and gossiping.



"Hey girl... How does it feel to have two dicks in your control..."

One of the boy yelled and everyone laughed.

Florina stopped and looked at him up and down, mocking him with her smirk.

"Trust me... Even if I told you, you won't understand. Because your brain is in your peanut size dick..."

Everyone laughed at him while he looked down in embarrassment.

Florina walked outside, she wasn't going to take it from anyone. She knows how to deal with the
situations like this. People take it for granted when you stay silent. They can't handle when you throw
their own shit at them.

"Florina..."

Cherry came running towards her.

"I am so sorry... Whatever happened___"

"It's okay cherry... It's not your fault. I kind of expected this reaction from people..."

She assured him but cherry noticed how tired she was looking in total contrast to her usual self.

"Are you okay... You don't look good..."

He asked.

"Yes I am fine... Just stressed... I'll be okay."

She smiled.



"Stay in touch, okay..."

He hugged her.

"Yes... You are an amazing friend cherry, I'll miss you..."

She hugged him back.

Biding her goodbye to cherry she head to her home. Florina was feeling defeated as now she has lost
her job and not to mention how people were trying to humiliate her. She was short on money, the
Russian mafia was trying to kill her, she lost the evidence and on top of that now she is in this new
mess. All problems crashed down on her at the same time.

It was now afternoon and she was still sitting in the living room thinking about her situation, she had no
idea what to do next. Her head was already throbbing and she had no appetite. Sighing she walked
towards her bedroom and laid down. Tear escaped from her eyes as she felt extremely trapped.

"I miss you dad, mom..."

Florina quickly fell asleep, slowly she caught fever and her sick state was lying on the bed unfazed,
without eating or taking medicine. She slept the whole day. It was nine in the night and she was still
sleeping, her apartment was dark with no source of light.

Florina groaned as she slightly woke up but her tired body refused to do anything. She closed her eyes
to sleep again but before she again fell in a deep slumber, she felt a rough hand on her forehead.
Florina couldn't help but sigh at the soothing feeling.

"Wake up, butterfly..."

He cooed her, florina lazily opened her eyes.



"Sebestian?..."

She sat up and looked at him like she is in a dream. Thinking that her sick mind is playing tricks with
her, she decided to ignore him and sleep again.

When she tried to lean back, Sebastian held her still.

"You need to eat something... How can you starve yourself the whole day..."

"Go away... You are not real. Stop messing with my mind."

She whined leaning against the bedpost.

Sebastian brought a spoon to her mouth.

"Eat... It will make you feel better..."

"I don't want to... I am not hungry..."

She mumbled in sleep.

Sebastian grabbed her chin and fed her the soup. She was still eating in half sleep.

He also made her eat the medicines as he noticed that she had fever.

He held her body close to her.

"I shouldn't have let you go, butterfly... I did the biggest mistake of my life..."

Sebastian took of her clothes and wiped her body with wet cloth as she was burning in fever. He
changed her in one of her t-shirt and laid down beside her and placed her head on his chest. Florina
snuggled closer to him and he rubbed her back gently.



"I can't let him take you, butterfly... You are mine..."

Sebestian looked at her peaceful face and kissed her forehead.
